The atmosphere within the cabin at Park Fashion Company bore the weight of a creative storm, an electric charge lingering in the air long past the confines of a conventional workday.
Papers lay scattered like fallen soldiers, crumpled and strewn across the battlefield of the floor, The room, now a disaster zone, echoed with the aftermath of a creative storm.
Papers, once neatly arranged, now rebelled against order, mixing with pens and pencils in a chaotic dance. A lone figure, the epicenter of this disorder, slumped over a table. Her head, crowned by disheveled locks, rested wearily on the surface, her face obscured by a curtain of hair.
The laptop, a lone survivor on the cluttered battlefield, defiantly displayed an open email on its screen
The door, adorned with a nameplate proudly declaring "Executive Director," swung open, revealing Harin in a crisp blue office attire but soon her step stoped as Harin's eyes scanned the chaos, her attention soon fell upon the lone figure seated in a chair.
Concern filled Harin's eyes as she walked towards the table, taking the seat in front of the hunched figure.
"Chanyeol said we can drop the deal. Why do you choose to suffer like this?"
Harin's words carried a mix of understanding and genuine worry, as she knew the figure in front of her was aware of her presence, even though she hadn't looked up. The figure groaned audibly, lifting her head and sitting up straight with a loud sigh.
"Because I know he will suffer more than this if he drops this deal," came her weary response. The words hung in the air, a testament to the weight of responsibility and foresight that drove her to endure the late-night struggles.
"It's really nonsense, Y/N," Harin expressed with genuine concern, her gaze fixed on the weariness etched across Y/N's face. "Chanyeol said he can manage somehow, but still, why are you doing this? We all know it's all what Jungkook wants."
Y/N sighed, a subtle resignation in her demeanor. "I know, Harin, but it's the best solution," she said, managing a small smile that barely masked the underlying exhaustion.
Harin's concern deepened into a hint of frustration. "Stop this, Y/N! He's literally abusing you mentally. This isn't the best solution; it's a toxic cycle that needs to end."
A flicker of defiance crossed Y/N's eyes. "Harin, it's complicated. The team, the company........there's too much at stake."
Harin's voice sharpened with anger. "More than your mental well-being? This isn't right, and you know it. We can find another way, one that doesn't involve sacrificing yourself for Jungkook's whims."
The room, a silent witness to the escalating tension,Suddenly, the door creaked open, and Chanyeol and Jinhyung entered the room. Chanyeol's voice cut through the tension, "Yes, Y/N. We can cancel this deal. It's not good for you to handle everything alone."
