A girl in a beige sweatshirt along with a black formal knee length skirt, sat on an ornate chair with shock etched across her face. The spacious room buzzed with activity as children darted around, their gleeful laughter reverberating off the high ceilings. Meanwhile, the parents, clustered in small groups, murmured amongst themselves, their eyes occasionally flicking toward the girl with a mix of curiosity and concern.

And it's non other than jung y/n

Y/N sat in the waiting room of the golden kindergarten, her heart pounding with a mix of anxiety and anticipation.

Suddenly, the door to the waiting room opened, and Jeongchan burst in, his eyes searching the room. When he saw her, his face lit up with pure joy.

"Mummy!" he shouted, his voice full of emotion as he ran towards her.

Y/N stood up, her eyes welling up with tears. She knelt down and opened her arms wide, catching Jeongchan as he leaped into her embrace. She held him tightly, feeling his small body tremble with excitement and relief.

"Jeongchan, my little Chan," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "I missed you so much, damn! saying this makes me miss you even more." She chuckled

Jeongchan hugged her tighter, his voice muffled against her shoulder. "I missed you too, mummy."

Y/N pulled back slightly to look at his face, wiping away his tears with her thumb. "I know, sweetheart. I've missed you every single day. Forgive me for not coming to see you"

"It's ok mummy I'm not sad anymore" Jeongchan said, repeating the comforting words she had often sung to him, then Jeongchan remembered something.

"Mummy, why are you here instead of Daddy?" the little boy, Jeongchan, asked, his eyes wide with innocent curiosity.

She took a deep breath, forcing a smile onto her face. "Daddy had to work, Jeongchan. That's why I came instead."

Jeongchan nodded, seemingly satisfied with the answer, even though he was little sad about that he shrugged it off because his favourite person here with that ran off to join his friends. As she watched him go, she overheard snippets of the parents' conversations.

"Oh my god, she's his mother? First time I've ever seen her."

"Yeah, I even thought he was motherless."

Y/N felt a pang in her chest at the whispered comments. She tightened her grip on her skirt.

"Isn't she too young to be a mother? Maybe she's just a nanny."

"No, she said 'Mummy' and he called her that too."

Y/N felt a wave of disgust wash over her. How could they speak like that about an innocent soul? She clenched her fists slightly, With determination in her eyes, she straightened her posture and spoke up.
