Cameron meets The Seven Deadly Sins

Chapter 3: The Nightmare

It started with the city and it's people I've protected for years, everything seemed to be normal, when all of a sudden a laser beam came out of nowhere and hit a building and blew a part of it away, then I heard it, the screams of Innocents fleeing in panic, and then I saw what was going on... the city was being attacked by some horrific shadowy looking monsters, and everyone was running for their lives, but in vain, they all met the same fate over and over again, crushed, skewered, and had their souls drained from their bodies, it was a sickening sight, but that wasn't the end of the horrors, the scene then changed to my friend Jackson who was working on a project when all of a sudden the project he had been working on simultaneously combusted and he was killed by flying debris, next my puerto rican friend Yadiel appeared and his scene was a robbery that had taken 3 people in the store he ran from time to time, and He had been one of those three, Cyrus Brown or Yuki(as he preferred it) came next, his scene was part of an alleged conspiracy that he had been part of a gang that was causing a lot of trouble in his home town where I had disappeared, he had been found guilty even though he was clearly innocent in this and someone had framed him, and was sentenced to 20 years in prison and execution by electric chair, but the most heartbreaking scene I had was the worst one of all, the scene started with Miku and Sydni being in a right predicament, Miku was charged for everything that had happened between her and the company that created her (running away, resisting arrest from the military, & killing her "innocent & loving" master), and made her guilty on the spot, Sydni tried to defend her innocence, but without me there it was useless and Miku was sentenced to death by a way of Guillotine(Attack On Titan style) and what hit me the most was just as the swords blade hit her, the last word that left her mouth was a horrified & tearful "Daddy?" Which was me, and just like that her head was cleanly decapitated and fell to the ground, but that wasn't the only death in that scene during the execution Sydni was watching the whole thing crying her broken heart out when suddenly someone pushed her directly under Miku's gigantic head, she let out a horrific scream before she was crushed to death under Miku's head with her own head peeking out from under it and both of their faces showing a look of horror and sadness, and for the final nail in the coffin, the mastermind behind all of this death and destruction on my friends and family, was none other than Queen Lori who was also the one that pushed my loving wife Sydni into the path of Miku's falling head, she was laughing devilishly and was congratulating Shadow Cameron on a job well done, then she turned her head seemingly towards me and said in her evil voice, "It's my world now Mr. Scance. You Have Lost.", before laughing devilishly again in victory.

I shot up in the bed screaming; "NO!!!", When I snapped out of it, I saw that I was back in the room at the inn, I felt cold sweat running down my head, and I was breathing heavily, I felt that my heart stopped beating when the nightmare ended, at moment there was the sound of running footsteps coming towards my door, it opened and there stood The Owner looking worried sick, "What Happened!? What's Wrong!?", he asked in a startled voice, I didn't know what to say, I was still recovering from the horrific vision I had just experienced, "S-sorry about that sir...", I began shakily, "...I... I had a... a really bad nightmare, that's all.", The Owner understood the situation and said to me in a more calm and caring voice; "Well, if you're sure, then I'll leave you to it, here let me get you a glass of water to help you.", "Thanks.", I replied and he left to get my glass of water.

He returned a few moments later with the glass and handed it to me, and I gulped down a few sips and felt a bit better, though I was still disturbed by the nightmare, I thanked The Owner again, he wished me more pleasant dreams, and left me alone once more.

I needed to go back to sleep, but no matter how hard I tried, the thought of returning to that nightmare kept haunting me, so I decided to continue my journey through this new world and figure out a solution to return to my own world, but before I left the inn I decided to leave a note of thanks and give The Owner a hopefully good price to pay him for letting me retire for the night, once I taken care of everything that was needed, I quietly made my way to the window, the room I was in was on the second floor, so I had to carefully climb out and jump down to the street so is not to get anyone's attention, when I got to the street I ran off into the night which had now slowly began to turn into dawn, even though I was exhausted from both the train accident and the nightmare, I carried on with determination to get back home.

But what the next few days had in store for me was something that I would never forget for the rest of my life...
