Chapter 11: Introduction to The Seven Deadly Sins

As we started moving again I soon took notice of the Boar Hat, It was as if the structure was walking alongside the group, but then I realized that the structure was actually being carried by a Huge, Grass Green, Pig, I stared at it for a while completely stunned by what I was actually seeing with my own two eyes, "Pretty big pig isn't she?", I jumped and turned facing Meliodas smiling knowingly at me, "Uh... I Uh...", I stuttered sheepishly, Meliodas laughed heartily, then he said; "Easy kid, you didn't do anything wrong, I know you're new to us, but don't worry me and the others will help you out in understanding our ways and such.", I grinned sheepishly, then I thought; "Well, since he brought it up I might as well get to know the others.", then I turned back to Meliodas and asked if he could introduce me to everyone, "You mean the members of The Seven Deadly Sins?", He replied with a smug grin on his face, my face went as blank as a sheet of paper, "D-Did... You Just... S-S-Say... The Members Of...", "Yes, you heard correct Cameron.", Meliodas cut in with a chuckle, then he added, "Now I know that sounds crazy or bad if think about it, but rest assured none of us mean any harm for you.", I decided to take his word and requested him to introduce me to the members of the team, He started with himself, he explained that he was Captain of the team and that he was the "Dragon's Sin of Wrath", "Woah.", I said with shocked impressiveness, then he directed my attention to Giantess named Diane, "As you've met our "Serpent of Envy" herself in person already, you know who she is?", I nodded slowly with a little hint of nervousness, suddenly I turned to see Diane slowing down whilst looking at me, I became scared and maneuvered myself next to Elizabeth, she along with Meliodas, Diane, & even the others who had heard the conversation gave a small and hearty giggle, "It's alright little one,...", Said Elizabeth sweetly, Diane here's nothing to be afraid of, she's as gentle as a little lamb.", I slowly peered out from beside Elizabeth and looked at the friendly smile of the Giantess, then Diane spoke softly to me, "Hey there little guy, you may not know me, but do you recognize me from the Boar Hat?", I hesitated, but suddenly, it clicked in my mind, I did recognize her, I had seen her as the other waitress in that tavern when I first me Meliodas & Elizabeth, with this in my mind, I slowly came out from hiding behind Elizabeth and fell behind a bit to look at the giantess, "You're that other waitress in the Boar Hat that I saw.", Diane smiled, "Yep that's right, and I remembered your handsome little face when I first laid eyes on you.", I blushed as red as James' shiny red paintwork, Diane giggled with utter amusement, then she looked down at me and smiled sweetly, "I'm sorry for scaring you like that yesterday, I was only trying to help you, I promise.", She said earnestly giving me a pitying look, "I understand that now.", I replied looking down shamefully at my feet, suddenly I felt a swift change in weight and I realized that Diane had gently scooped me off my feet and held me gently against her cheek, I felt much better at once, in fact I was literally warming up on the inside, she was just so sweet, so sweet that I began nuzzling my face on her cheek like a cat, I heard a couple of adored "Aww"s from the others, I giggled modestly, then Diane lowered me back to the ground with Meliodas & Elizabeth, I thanked her warmly and added that I needed it, she gave me a sweet smile and simply said; "You're welcome.", I smiled back then turned to Meliodas and asked him to continue with introducing everyone who will be looking after me, but he didn't have to for the others chimed in and introduced themselves one by one, the next person after Diane was Harlequin The Fairy King (or King for short), he mentioned himself being the "Grizzly's Sin of Sloth", I jokingly bowed before him, he chuckled, quite amused, the others had a good laugh as well, next was The Tall Man with spiky Blue Hair, Ban, he introduced himself as the "Fox's Sin of Greed", "Ha!", I remarked jokingly, "I'd say it fits your outfit very well.", Ban and everyone else had another good laugh, lastly (of the Sins at least) Gowther introduced himself as the "Goat's Sin of Lust", I stared at him for a moment, I looked at him up, down, and up again in visible confusion, Gowther had noticed this and gave a little blush, this made me blush with embarrassment, and I shamefully looked away from him and shyly apologized for staring at him the way I did, but he was giving me a understanding smile, "I know my appearance looks deceiving, but you'll understand once we get time.", he said kindly, this made me feel more comfortable, "I'll take your word on that.", I replied shyly, then I turned to Elizabeth and asked her, "What kind of Sin are you?", She smiled and simply said that she never really was a part of the Sins, but was just staying with them since she had feelings for Meliodas, I chuckled and said, "I figured as such when I first met you two.", the couple chuckled heartily, just then a big Pink Pig bumped into my leg (seemingly to get my attention), I turned around and looked down, once the Pig got my attention it introduced itself as "Hawk" , I raised an eyebrow, and gave him a smirk, "Hawk ey?", I said once again jokingly, "Well, you're a strangest "Hawk" I've ever seen.", and I began laughing heartily,... this was apparently the wrong thing to do, for Hawk began to yell at me, sounding like a loud mother getting on to her troublesome child, "Woah! Woah! Woah!", I said in surprise, "I never meant that as an insult I was only trying to joke around like the others. I meant no offense, I swear!", Hawk seemed to relax a little, but he still was looking pretty pent up form the joke, but he couldn't be angry for long, After Meliodas explained some more about themselves leaving me quite impressed, he also mentioned that the other two members of the Sins were else where, but someday I'll be able to meet them before I was able to go home, I smiled, I was looking forward to having a run in with the Escanor & Merlin, the "Lion & Boar Sins of Pride & Gluttony", which was interesting because I heard of a character named Merlin from the Medieval era, but I kept it to myself for now.
We had walked for quite some time, Meliodas had found a place to stop for the night, 12 yards from the next nearest town, at one point of the journey I felt myself getting worn out from all the walking, I wasn't all that use to walking so much, so rather shyly, I decided to hitch a ride on Diane, who happily accepted and gently scooped me up and placed me on her shoulder, and for rest of that journey I sat comfortably on Diane and rode with her quite contempt, until Meliodas called 'stop' to set up shop for the night, I watched with amazement as The Giant Grassy Green Pig (Who was surprisingly Hawks Mama) burrowed into the ground and the Boar Hat rested perfectly in the ground where Hawks Mama had buried herself in, I was very impressed and wondered if she was also present at the little village near Byron Town, but I decided to focus on more important matters, I stood up and looked down at the ground below, I estimated it to be about 29 feet from where I was standing, Diane had took notice after I stood up, then to hers and everyone else's shock and amazement, I simply just stepped off of Diane's shoulder, they thought that I was going to fall, but when instead, it was like I stepped onto to an invisible platform, this was due to my unnatural powers I gained years ago (in my worlds time that is), which allows me to do anything I can think of, as well as my watch which also provides extra control my powers, the Sins were very surprised by my gravity defying ability, I looked down at them and back at Diane and laughed with amusement, I especially looked at Harlequin (who also had the ability to fly, being the literal Fairy King) who looked just as amazed by my special abilities, I decided to have some fun, so I flew around like an airplane and gave the ones on the ground a few dive bombs, giving them quite a stir and took cover thinking I was gonna hit them, I even got a few laughs out of them, Harlequin also had a hearty chuckle and even started flying alongside me, I felt so happy at that moment, it was like I was adopted into a second family, soon I decided that I had enough fun, so with Harlequin following behind me, I floated down to the ground and was greeted with applause, I was quite surprised, but I smiled and took a bow, "Thank you. Thank you.", I said kindly, then Meliodas spoke up, "Well since you just landed how about we head inside, it's getting a bit cool out here?", I had to admit, it was cooling down because it was getting dark, so we all went inside, Diane was the last to enter, it occurred to me that she had changed her clothes, leading me to believe that her clothes didn't shrink with her, I decided that I should give her something that she might like, but I decided to wait 'til the right moment to share it with her and everyone else.
