I was leaving my apartment when I saw Nya banging on the supers door talking to Dolores.
"Hey Elena" Nya said "uh have you seen the super?"
"No, Morning Dolores"
"Morning honey, how is you pops?" she asked giving me a tight squeeze
"He's doing good, a little freaked out from what's been happening"
"Actually, Elena, if you're down me and a bunch of others are gonna be protesting. I'd love if you could make it to show support, encourage people to not participate" Nya said walking back to her apartment
"Uh yea, I was just gonna go down to my dad store, but I can go later"
"Great, let me grab my bag"
Dolores said bye to us, walking back to her apartment.
I continued walking away dreading walking down all those stairs, cause the elevator been broken for a few days now
Nya joined me shortly after passing me a white sign that had bold black letters
"NFFA IS THE DEVIL"
I stood in the front of the crowd shouting "do not purge"
Nya had a megaphone, trying to convince the crowd to back down from this to not take their money it was great effort,but people like us needed money
Nya got on the car
"Walk away from their money!!"
"Yea"

I saw my dad sitting out with his friends waving me over
"Lena it's almost time to go, you shouldn't be here protesting, you should be packing you're over night bag"
"I already told you I'm not leaving. you should though,maybe you'll even beat the traffic pops"
Just then a black G wagon pulled up on the street across from us I already knew who it was Dmitri and his gang got out of the truck I stood from a distance watching them
"Will see what Dmitri gotta say about that"
Fred, my dad friend called him over

"All 4 of you old man out today?" Dmitri stood in front of them "oh and of course the beautiful Elena,how you been?"
"Fine"
"What you think about all this here Fred?" Dmitri asked
"Oh man look here this is the greatest shit show on earth" Fred said looking towards the evaluation cite
"And can you believe my little Elena doesn't want to leave the island" my dad said "she said staying here is better then going with her mom"
"No Damian I can not"Dmitri said "why don't you come stay with me Elena"
"Not interested"
"That's a perfect idea, she'll be there"
"Great I'll send a driver out for her maybe today,so we can catch up"
"I'm not going"
"Your going or your going to Brooklyn"
"So today work?"
"I'll be there the day of"
I begin walking off
