Ditched At The Dance

Girlfriend

The next morning Jess woke and got ready for school, but when she went out to wait for the bus she was surprised by someone driving up to her it isn’t Leo Jess thought, but then she saw who it was, Jess smiles as she looks past the headlights and sees Rose, Jess walks up to the car and gets in, 

“what are you doing here” Jess asks,

 “i came to pick you up” Rose replies, 

Jess looks at Rose curiously,

 “what i wanted to give my girlfriend a ride” Rose exclaims,

 Jess smiles as she hears the word girlfriend come out of her mouth, 

“girlfriend” Jess says seductivly,

 Rose nodded as she started to drive,

 “yes, girlfriend, that is what we are right” Rose asks,

 Jess nods “yes that is what we are” Jess says smiling as she places her hand on Rose’s hand,

 Rose holds Jess’s hand and brings it to her mouth, as she plants a soft kiss on the back of Jess’s hand Rose intertwines there fingers, when they get to the school they get out of the car and start heading towards the school, when they walk in the school Leo runs up to Jess, 

“who’s this” Leo asks, 

Jess smiles “this is Rose, Rose this is Leo my bestfriend” Jess says,

 Leo smirks “oh so your the girl” Leo exclaims, 

Rose looks at Jess confused,

 “it’s ok he knows about me” Jess says,

 Rose smiles as she looks at Leo,

 “yes im the girl” Rose answers, 

Leo looks at me

 “so you guys are…..dating?” Leo asks,

 Jess nods and smiles as she winks at Rose, and Rose blushes,

 “aww, you guys are so cute” Leo says,

 “shut up” Jess says jokingly,

 “we should probably get to class” Rose says,

 we all look at the clock and then go our separate ways.

 After a few hours we had lunch luckily they had the same lunch, Jess, Rose, Leo, and the girl from the dance that Leo left Jess for all sat at the same table, Jess smiles at Leo

 “are you going to introduce us” Jess says,

 Leo sits up in his chair, “Jess this is Recheal, Recheal this is Jess my bestfriend” Leo says,

 “oh and thats Rose” Leo adds,

 “it’s nice to meet you” Recheal says,

 “what do you all do” Recheal asks,

 Rose looks confused, Jess can see Rose’s confusion,

 “she wants to know what you’re studying” Jess says,

 Rose chuckles “oh im a writer and singer” Rose says,

 “cool, and what about you Jess” Recheal says, 

“im an artist” Jess responds, 

“wow all of you guys are studying something cool, writing, singing, art, and then Leo with graphic design and construction,” Recheal says,

”and what about you” Jess asks,

 “im a dancer” Recheal answers,

 “oh so we have a whole theater crew here” Jess says jokingly, 

everyone giggles,

 “no really, i can design it, Leo can build it, Rose could sing, and Recheal can dance” Jess says, 

everyone giggles again, and the next thing they knew the bell rung, everyone jumped out of their chairs and said there goodbyes.

Jess walks in her last class of the day and sits down, Jess looks around and sees Recheal, Jess smiles at Recheal along with a slight nod, Recheal smiles back and walks over to Jess,

 “i never realized you were in my class” Jess says,

 “me neither” Recheal replies,

 “i’m not ready for this class” Jess exclaims as the bell rings for the start of class,

 “me neither” Recheal says as she walks back to her desk and sits down, 

class starts and after a while the teacher was in the middle of her lesson when the principal walks in with Rose, Jess smiles when Rose walks in the door, and Rose returns the smiles as she sees Jess, and she adds a quick wink, the principal explains to the teacher that Rose was a new student that had just transferred here, Then the teacher introduces herself,

“Nice to meet you Rose, i’m Ms.Hart” Ms.Hart says,

Ms.Hart points to the only empty seat which was in the back of the class next to Jess, 

“you can sit next to Jess”Ms.Hart says,

 Rose smirks as she walks to the back of the class and sits next to me,

 “are you ok with that seat” the teacher asks Rose,

 Rose nods,

 “ok sweetheart tell me if you ever need to change seats ok, i know how much of a trouble maker Jess is” Ms.Hart says smiling, 

Rose nods and looks at Jess, 

“oh i know Jess is a bad girl” Rose whispers and chuckles,

 Jess jokingly hits Rose’s arm and chuckles, Rose smiles as she scoots closer to Jess and holds her hand out under the desk gesturing her to hold her hand, Jess hesitates, Rose frowns and pulls her hand back to herself and looks towards the front, Jess starts to feel bad and starts to think that they’re in the back so no one will see them, Jess looks at Rose’s sad expression and grabs her hand, Jess interlocks there fingers as she lips the words “im sorry” and Rose smiles.

 At the end of the lesson it was time to work on our assignment, as the teacher passed out the homework Jess and Rose let go of each other's hands, and started working on the assignment, Jess looked at Rose and remembered her hesitation, 

“I’m sorry” Jess says in a whisper,

 “for what” Rose whispers back,

 “for hesitating earlier” Jess replies, 

“it’s ok, you were scared of people seeing” Rose says in an understanding tone,

 “trust me if it wasn’t for my mom I would shout it from the rooftops” Jess says,

 Rose blushes as she smiles,

 “and I would be all over you” Rose says seductively,

 which makes Jess blush, They continue to work on their assignment and flirt when nobody is looking.
