Military officer: so, dash how long have you had to be alone.

Dash: 2 weeks. My best friend died a week before they had time to power on the cities. I have a question to ask you. What's the population left?

MO: I think 3.5 billion

Dash: Holy shit... I didn't know...

MO: Hey Dash, it's ok. I understand you are shocked. How about let's start from the beginning shall we? I will show you the footage of black glove just before the CME began

Dash: how did the footage survive a CME?

MO: all footage was saved in a hard drive just before the world wide emp. Apparently people in Canada and the east side of the planet suffered minimal casualties and many places had no idea the emp was a thing until the second year. I am gonna need you to try to recount your events from the very beginning to now. You used to be a very famed military officer. You went on many missions with Calvin Altairis, Kian Maxwell, Code name Demo, and a fellow by the name of Patrick Eugene. Calvin was your highest ranking office. (long pause) Did you kill them?

Dash: Do you really think I killed them?

MO: yeah I do actually. You had a massive amount of blood on your hands and we scanned it and half of it matches the genetic description of Calvin. Did you kill everyone else earlier on?

Dash: I didn't kill any of my friends. Why would you think I would do that? I worked with them for 13 years. Calvin died in my arms; he bled out after being shot by a sniper!

MO: how am I supposed to believe that? You have no proof. We also Know you killed your Girlfriend and Claire. They were around right? And you just killed them.

Dash: I did not! Claire got radiation poisoning from those... What else was I supposed to do? Claire got killed by them!

MO: again we have proof you killed everyone you were with. We also found your car and Calvin's car blown up and on their roofs. Next to an apartment complex. The complex has been lost to those things anyways so we are gonna have to set up an exclusion zone around the area. Dash I am on your side. I want you to tell me what happened so you don't have to go to prison or worse death row. Just please don't make this hard for me if you attack or attempt to kill me or any of my guys. We will not hesitate to blow your head off right here and right now.

He racks a pistol after taking it out of his pocket a bullet hits the floor and the screen goes black

MO: Now, please tell your story.

The screen blacks out and opens on Dash at home. Leilani is grabbing her keys and her phone from the kitchen table. Dash is just getting out of bed.

Dash: Wow that's surprising. You up before me?

Leilani: Goodmorning. I know, right? I thought you were still asleep and didn't really want to bother you.

Leilani hugs Dash and he kisses her.

Dash: Thanks but I would want to be woken up by you rather than the sun.

Leilani: (playful) Okay, Maybe I can start doing that. We can start off our morning with a little fun next time.

Dash: Could we do that this morning?

Leilani: I wish I could but Claire, Joan, and Natalee want to go hangout at the beach for a bit. Want to come with us?

Dash: That sounds like a lot of fun but I'm on call for the base. I highly doubt anything will happen.
