I sat at my desk, staring at the teacher annoyed. It was finally the last class of the day and I couldn't wait for it to finally end. I wanted to go home and enjoy my weekend, before the field trip, but instead I still had to sit here, staring at the teacher blabbing about something.

I can't believe it's already a month of me being here. So far, my dad hasn't called or texted me once, and he seemed very eager to get me to stay back at y/c.

But no, I actually love it here. Of course the way father described it was completely wrong. It's great here.

I know he was just lying to get me to stay home. He kept telling me all kinds of stories that mom is a crazy flower lady, and that's why she moved to her hometown.

Maybe mom was a bit obsessive of flowers, but it's just natural. Like, did you see the beauty of nature in Korea?! Anyway, mom's still amazing and a thousand times better than father.

And she cooks so much better than the annoyed chefs at home. Those chefs at father's house cook terribly, and are only there because dad pays them well.

I mean, even I can cook better than them. Even though, I'd probably burn down the kitchen, but the final product would still be better.

I stared at the board, that was slowly getting filled up with more math equations in annoyance. Sighing, I opened my notebook and started tracing everything down into my notebook.

A couple of seconds passed, as I finally wrote down the last equation that the teacher wrote, before he stared talking again.

I stared at the numbers I wrote for a second, before noticing a small paper being thrown in my direction. I stared at it, dropped on the floor before seeing Ju-kyung give me a nod of approval.

I threw my pen in the same direction, before picking it along with the paper. Ju-kyung turned back to the board, acting like nothing had even happened.

I opened the paper in curiosity, but carefully, so the teacher wouldn't notice. It was folded into multiple layers, that I unwrapped before reading what was written on it.

Do you not notice the way Seo-Jun was staring at you?

I stared at the words written on the paper, wondering what she meant by that. Finally the bell rang, and I was free to leave. The teacher saluted us, as we just stared before he left.

Everyone started scattering around the classroom, laughing and packing their things. Su-a and Soo-Jin had both already waved to us, gesturing they were leaving.

Ju-kyung made a sharp 180-turn, before smirking at me weirdly.

"What did you mean by that..paper?" I hesitated, not knowing how to call her, abominable message.

"I mean it."

"No, you don't. You must've just...imagined that." I sighed.

"No, I saw him. Ha-eun, you know what that this means?!" She yelled louder than the bald PE teacher on festival day. I sighed, knowing exactly what she'll say.

"Maybe he just looked at me for a few seconds, it's normal. It's called observing." I say as I grab my bag and we both head out of the classroom.

As we were about to leave, I heard someone yell my name behind us. Someone, whose voice I could recognize anywhere. Someone as annoying as...

...Han Seo-Jun.

"Ha-eun!" He yelled.

"Hm..?" I turn around confused, Ju-kyung did the same as we just stared at him, waiting for what he'll say.

"Ahh, I didn't tease you enough today" or "come here, I'll tease you about something" or just his natural smirk and chuckle indicating he wants something, was what I expected from him, but surprisingly it was none of the above.

His voice tuned into a nice, almost kind sounding tone as he spoke.
"Could you wait for me?" He asked.

I stayed silent for a few seconds before asking.
"Hm? Did I hear you right?"

He just repeated his question.

"Could you possibly wait for me?"

"Uh, sure?" I replied a bit hesitant. Why would he want me to wait for him?! He usually just walks off with his gang before the teacher even walks out himself.

He smiled at my response before quickly packing his things and grabbing his backpack. I stared at him a bit confused, as we walked the halls, Ju-kyung right next to us.

She also had a confused expression on her face, but I could also see a bit of a smirk on her face.

This girl, I'll beat her up...

We exited the building, before Ju-kyung smiled and waved at us.

"See you." She smiled innocently before running off in her fast pace.

Gosh, now what?! What if Seo-Jun suddenly start annoying me. He wouldn't bother to do that around anyone, but now that we were alone, he was capable of anything. I think he noticed my concerned expression as he spoke.

"You're probably wondering why I asked you to wait for me, right?" He asked, his tone sounding a calm and kind way.

He didn't have that annoyed expression on his face, and didn't speak in a fast and rude tone, like usual. His tone was nice and warm, and his expression was just a small smile.I nodded gently.

"Listen, I wanted to talk to you about something." He spoke gently spoke.

"About what?" I asked eagerly.

"Does...does Ju-kyung have something with...Sooho?" He asked quietly, hesitating a bit.

"Huh?" The question honestly took me by surprise. Why was he asking this right now? Is he interested in Limju?

He groaned in embarrassment, to which I nodded and sighed. He was visibly too embarrassed to ask for the first time, and making him repeat it again would just drown him in shame.

"I don't think so, why?" I replied. He sighed again, before starting again.

"No reason, anyway..are you excited for the field trip?" He suddenly changed the topic.

"Yeah but...is there any reason why you're asking about Limju?"

"Ahh, isn't it noticeable?" He sighed.

Of course it was noticeable. He liked Limju, or at least was a bit interested in her. I don't know why he was asking about Limju to me. Like, why me? Isn't he worried i'll tell her?

"Anyway, see ya on Monday." He yelled excitedly before walking into his gate and closing it behind him.
