Hana's POV

As soon as I left JYP's office it was already halfway into first period. Therefore, the big boss let me skip the class altogether and instead work on my music more with Kaden.

"Kaden," I sigh, plopping myself into the very comfortable chair.

"What's up?" He replies in his perfect English.

My and Kaden's way of conversing has ascended to me speaking in a mixture of Korean and English and him responding in casual English. I appreciate this dynamic we have because it gives me time to learn from a native speaker so I can speak as if one as well to my English-speaking fans.

"Are all my songs going to be about love?" I murmur, peering up at him with hopeful eyes. "I know Rollercoaster, which was written by me, was about love; But I have so many other song ideas that aren't about love."

Kaden didn't speak at first, simply processing my words and formulating a response. This is normal for our conversations: a sort of delayed response is normal when I speak mostly Korean.

"At first, yes. All your songs will be about love. At least the title tracks will. On the B-sides, we can be a bit more flexible. However, love songs are the most profitable, especially with your scenario and life story. Therefore, JYP won't let me do anything else until you make a true name for yourself."

"I haven't made a name for myself already?"

"You're literally called 'Nation's Soulmate," Kaden deadpans, "Your whole existence in your fans' eyes is about being a soulmate to many."

I sigh, playfully glaring at my producer. I do this for a couple of seconds until he finally blinks (Breaking our silent staring contest), and I throw my hands up in the air, waving my white flag.

"Fine! Love it is."

Kaden smiles, nodding his head. "Well... Onto the more interesting things."

"Such as?"

"Your title track. It's done!"

My eyes widened and my jaw dropped. "...It's done?" I burst.

"Yes, yes! Let's give it a final listen, shall we?"

"Should we invite JYP to listen to it as well?" I question, knowing he has the final approval on whether or not the song gets released.

"Well..." Kaden began, a cheeky smile on his face. "We might have listened to it already before our contract meeting;"

"Without me?" I whine, slouching in my chair.

"If it makes you feel any better, they all loved it."

"I would've loved to be in that room too!" I roll my eyes playfully. "Just play the song."

Kaden clicked a few buttons on his high-tech laptop and suddenly DM was playing through the speakers in this recording studio.

I sat in awe, listening to my (And Kaden's) personal creation. Tears filled in my eyes but I refused to let them fall; This wasn't time for tears.

As DM echoed in the studio, I found myself captivated by the enchanting melody and the lyrics that resonated with the fluttering emotions of a budding romance. Kaden sat back in his chair, observing my reactions with a proud smirk. He knew he did an amazing job on this song.

"So, what do you think?" He asked, his eyes sparkling with anticipation. The song had drew to a close and now I just sat there with my jaw to the floor.

I blinked away the tears that threatened to escape, a wide grin spreading across my face. "Kaden, this is...Beyond amazing! It's like you plucked the exact expectations of my debut and slapped it into this song!"
