Where are you? [REVAMP] - HAECHAN

Chapter 3

They went to the hospital after Haechan took his breakfast. At home, Mark was in Doyoung's room, pacing back and forth thinking about what was happening to Haechan.

"Hyung, I want to go to the hospital too" Mark said as he looked over to Doyoung who was busy reading articles about sleepwalking on his iPad.

"Why do you want to follow them? Taeyong and Johnny hyung are there with him" Doyoung asks, still focused on his reading.

"But he ... didn't know that it happened to himself" he whispers as he recalls back when they told Haechan about going to the hospital and his face dropped.

"Hyung, I'm not sick"

"Haechan-ah, it's just a check-up" Taeyong persuades him

"But still ..."

"C'mon Lee Haechan, go and get ready" Johnny was quick to dismiss him and Mark looked at Haechan across the table, wanting to know what is he feeling. His eyes were searching for him but he was looking everywhere but him.

As Haechan passed by to put the dirty dishes in the sink. He can hear his faint voice.

"I hate the hospital though" he said with a sullen look on his face, even though he only whispered it to himself, it was enough for Mark to hear it, and it was enough for him to get worried.

"I can't do this" Mark stormed off Doyoung's room, leaving him puzzled.

Mark reaches over to his phone and calls Taeyong.

"Mark-ah, why are you calling?"

"Hyung, there's a ... problem"

"Huh? What problem?"

"I ... burned the kitchen" Mark nibbles on his finger, he feels bad for lying to his hyungs.

"YOU WHAT?!"

"Hyung, just hurry home already, I don't know what to do!" Mark sounds panicked.

"Where's the other members?!"

"They went out and I just thought to make myself some food but I--I don't know how it happened just hurry home hyung" Mark rushes.

"Is there fire right now? Do you put off the fire? Should I call the emergency line?!" Taeyong freaks out, he can hear Johnny repeatedly asking what happened as he too is alarmed by the news.

"I already put off the fire but I'm scared hyung, I don't know what to do next, just hurry home"

"Alright, we are turning around, get yourself safe, we are on our way!" Taeyong bid a hurried goodbye.

and just like that Mark cancels Haechan's trip to the hospital.
