Glowing blue butterflies emerged from a metallic spaceship, dancing above the glow-in-the-dark cobalt grass. It felt wonderful to be back in their homeland, the most beautiful place for stargazing.

In the Chatt-ruinian plains and meadows, a stylish purple dress moved like a wraith, capturing the stars in a sparkling array, as silent as the lonely reaches of outer space. Obsidian rocks gleamed, illuminating the fairy as she approached the rendezvous point in the Field of Stars as glorious as Earth's Milky Way galaxy.

Ireyna looked up at the night sky, admiring the magnificent view of multiple star systems and galaxies. The night sky glowed and shimmered in a duet of sparkle and glitter. Underneath the stars, Ireyna could see the undeniable truth.

The Glittered Inktraitor was nowhere in sight.

Ireyna looked around, wondering the whereabouts of her colleague. It was unlike him to miss out, especially on the endeavor that was so carefully planned over the years.

He failed to show up. The right cosmic conditions, the correct scientific configurations, the atmospheric patterns aligned, everything arranged accordingly, and the scientist dips out on the opportunity, Ireyna thought, scowling in annoyance.

After waiting a few moments, Ireyna called Casim on the butterfly communicator, but there was no response. Ireyna left a voicemail. She reached out to the butterflies that remained with Casim, but they were also radio silent.

Frustrated to the maximum ire, Ireyna decided, Since Casim isn't here, I will go ahead and open the door to Realzemlan, where my alternate self is located. I need to do this just before dawn.

The butterflies brought a container of Natvolori ink as Ireyna began to glow vivid purple, gathering her energy and powering up to the maximum level. Ireyna had enough power and energy to open several portals, if not all.

A flash of yellow erupted, spreading across the starlit sky like a lightning streak that hovered in place. Ireyna's power encircled the yellow, fusing with it, as if commanding control of the cosmos.

Ireyna directed her power as the butterflies traitored the Natvolori ink to form a doorway to another world. The glittery black ink and the glowing purple power worked together in an elliptical spiral dance above the starlit sky.

A doorway materialized, sliding open to reveal a portal to another world. Ireyna wasn't sure what she expected to see, but it was definitely not how she had imagined.

Drifts of snow floated out of the portal, out of the industrial cityscape underneath a pink sunrise. Metallic smoke breathed out of factory buildings, hanging over the cold air and the snow-covered city, awakened by dawn. Light pink trees sprung in rows throughout the light tan and cream white apartment buildings.

It's beautiful, Ireyna thought in fascination, admiring the snowy landscape, the light pink and white that dominated the metallic hiss of industrial smoke.

As much as she wanted to enter Realzemlan, Ireyna didn't want to risk being trapped in an unfamiliar world. Ireyna sent a ribbon of purple energy, watching the ribbon enter the portal. Her eyes became purple as Ireyna viewed Realzemlan through the lens of the ribbon that moved above the industrial city, emerging from within a cloud of smoke.

Several butterflies dared to enter the portal, enjoying the frigid strawberry-scented air that greeted them. The butterflies either explored the snowy landscape or joined Ireyna's ribbon in search of Iriana.
