Matteo walked home and saw Miranda already waiting outside the door.
"Hi" he said coldly as he walked past her to open the door
"Really, just hi" Miranda huffed angrily.
"What do you want me to say when you've been ignoring my calls" Matteo snapped
"I was busy that's why I didn't take the call"
"You could have sent a text, I was worried, I wanted to talk to you about something but I already went to the station, so there's no need, you can go home" Matteo replied and walked inside the house.
"Did you think going to the station would be of any help to you, you're putting your life in danger, those people are dangerous and you shouldn't mess with them" Miranda yelled
"So you expect me to sit back and watch them hurt innocent people" Matteo fired
"That's not what I am saying, if you want to be alive just stay out of their business, you would have died today, did you see those guys following you, why am I even asking, take care" Miranda said and walked out of the house slamming the door.
"Miranda, wait" Matteo called running after her
Miranda entered her car and drove back home.
GRANDPA VINCENT HOUSE
"So what's this drug for?" Grandpa Vincent asked as he watched the nurse display different type of drugs for him on the table.
"It's to make you have more strength" She smiled and he nodded
"Alright, it's time to take your injection" The nurse said and he stretched his hand.
The nurse grinned and injected the content in the syringe into his viens.
"That's all, now you need to rest" She said and covered him with his duvet
"You're so kind, I will ask my son to increase your pay " Grandpa Vincent said
"No sir, you're like a father to me, I need to take good care of you even without being paid" She said and watched him till he fell asleep before leaving the room
BARONE MANSION
"Hey, is the job done??" Luciano asked
"Yes, and he seems to trust me" the nurse replied
"That's good, how many doses will it take for him to die" He asked
"Four, I gave him three already" She replied and he smiled
"Okay, I'll send the remaining payment now, make sure you leave there immediately you complete the rest" He said
"Sure thank you" She replied and he ended the call
"The old man thinks he can give my position to her and I would just let it slide, no!!!, I won't stop till I become the Don" He said and stood up and walked outside.
He saw a maid running downstairs
"Hey, stop right there or I shoot" He ordered and she froze.
"Now turn around" He ordered and she slowly turned
"Oh it's you little mouse, what were you doing here?" He asked walking towards her.
"Nothing sir, I was just cleaning the rooms" she stuttered
"Hmm, I see, what did you hear?" Luciano growled and grabbed her neck.
"Nothing...I promise.. I was just passing" She croaked out
"I am not joking, tell me what you heard " Luciano gritted increasing the pressure on her neck.
"I did not hear anything, please" She cried.
Luciano left her and walked back to his room. The maid rubbed her neck as she continued coughing.
ARES MANSION
"Where's your boss?" Kay asked the men
*He went out for a mission and would be back later" He replied
"So why did you bring me here when he isn't around" He grumbled
"Here is your foot, eat while you wait for him" He said and dropped a tray on the table before walking out and locked the door.
Kay huffed and looked around the room and walked towards the window.
"What if I jump down and kill all the guards then run home?" She thought and her eyes caught the camera on the ceiling.
She smirked and sat back on the chair pushing the thoughts from her head.
"Venom promised that I won't spend a day here, let me see if he can fulfill that promise"

Nurse Ariel smiled as she heard her phone beep. She knew it was a credit alert from Luciano.
Grandpa Vincent had already woken up and he requested for some fruits.
She was in the kitchen washing the apple when a guy walked in.
"Hi, are you a guard here?" She asked
"Yeah, what are you doing here?" He asked
"Nothing, I just came to get grandpa's fruit " She said
"Alright, can you take a bite out of one of those apples." He ordered
"Huh??" She asked and moved back.
"Yeah, eat it or did you put something in it" he asked smiling sheepishly
"No....I didn't, I don't eat apples" She said
"Eat it now, or I'll shoot you here" he said bringing out his gun.
Nurse Ariel picked an apple with shaky hands and took a bite.
"Good, now eat again, you must chew it and swallow it" he ordered and she nodded
After three bites, she began to cough out blood with her mouth foaming.
She clutched her stomach, groaning in pain till she fell on the ground.

MATTEO HOUSE
I smiled as I dropped the box outside the gate. I hope she loves it because I made her angry today, it's my little way of apologizing to her.
I shouldn't have lost my temper when she came around. I could see the care in her eyes even when she was angry at me.
BARONE MANSION
"Mimi, is Kay alright??" Mrs Katherine asked
"Yes mum, she forgot her phone at home so there's no way to reach her " Miranda replied
"I don't want anything to happen to my daughter, please do all you can to save her" She pleaded
"Don't worry mum, Vitto and I would find a way to get her back" Miranda assured and hugged her.
"Princess, there's a package for you" Damian said and gave her a box wrapped beautifully
"Who's it from??" She asked
"It was found at the gate and addressed to you" He replied
"Okay, thanks, please come with me" Miranda said walking upstairs and Damian followed behind.
