The mystery shall continue

After Wednesday left, Enid was worried, she didn't know what the goth might try to do, so she decided to go over and apologize to her lover

Enid told Esther where she's going, and she wasn't worried, after Enid got there she knocked on the front door
Gomez opened it

"Enid! What a surprise! Come in" the man said, he was awfully kind it felt weird but Enid went with it "I came here to see Wednesday"

The blonde said as she walked into the house "she's upstairs" Gomez told her Enid nodded and went upstairs but Wednesday was no where to be found

Enid felt a shiver ran down on her spine "she isn't here!" The blonde shouted Gomez and Pugsley ran upstairs almost immediately

"Where is she?!" Pugsley asked in a worried tone, Enid began to look around for any clues she found her note book

And began to read it, the moment of realization hit her when she read the first page, Wednesday went to look for that thing she made up

Enid felt cold sweat on her forehead, her hands began to shake, mouth fell open, and again a shiver ran through her whole body

The blonde kept staring at the book, after a few moments it fell out of her hand, everything felt like it was in slow motion

Enid heard the book hit the floor, and bounce then hit it again, then it was on the floor open, the pages were facing down

A tear fell from Enids eye, every single possibility ran through her mind, she knew Wednesday liked to go in the woods

But there are parts, that has animals like, coyote or wolves, and sometimes even bears but those are rare, Enid stared out of the window

After minutes of silence, and standing still, Enid finally moved and looked around the room, Wednesday's flashlight was gone

But her phone was on the desk, Enid looked at Gomez "stay here, if I don't come back until tomorrow, call the police, and give them this notebook, but don't read it"

Enid said and walked out of the house, and went to ajax's house and knocked on the door furiously the boy opened it

"I need your help, Wednesday's missing" ajax didn't ask any questions he grabbed a flashlight and they walked to Xavier's house

The boy was hesitant but decided to go with them, they all went in the forest and began to search for Wednesday

"Wednesday!" They kept shouting her name but there was no response, it was getting dark what meant, that in the forest was almost pitch black

The flashlights were the only light they had, they found no one as they got deeper in the forest, noises were heard and it sounded like footsteps

"Wednesday? Baby?!" Enid asked as she looked around, but saw no one other than the two boys next to her "we should get home"

Xavier said his voice was somewhat shakey "no we have to keep looking, she's our friend!" Ajax said raising his voice at the other boy

"Fine" Xavier said and they continued to walk deeper into the woods, it was getting colder and colder by minutes Enid only had a leather jacket

And a shirt on with a skirt, the boys had hoodies on and some jeans none of them had too much clothing on, they were all started to get cold

"Look there!" Ajax said as she pointed at the ground, where the flashlight was pointing, a camera Enid picked it up

And looked at the memory in it, only one video Enid played the video, it was shaking and looked like the person was panicking

Then a voice was heard "everyone thinks I'm crazy, but there's that thing" it was Wednesday's voice, Enid recognized it

The video showed the pair of red eyes and the creature standing on two legs, after that it started running forward Wednesday

The girl fell on the ground, then she stood up and ran after the creature, the camera was with her, the video was blurry

Hard to see what was going on, then at some point the camera was dropped, in the light of the camera it was visible

That Wednesday continued running after that monster, after a while they heard a loud roar, then quiet no footsteps nothing

The camera stopped recording, Enid looked at the two boys "we need to get out of here! Now!" Xavier said on the edge of a panic attack

"No! We have to find her Xavier! I love her!" Enid began to beg for them to continue looking for her lover, Xavier disagreed

"I'm going home! I'm not dying today!" And with that the boy began to walk back "don't worry, we're finding her" Ajax said with a soft smile

Enid nodded they continued walking where they thought Wednesday could have gone, but they had no luck of finding the girl

Ajax looked at her wristwatch, it showed two am sharp, the boy sighed as Enid began to worry even more, a bad feeling stung her in her chest

She didn't know what she felt, but it wasn't good, something's going to happen or find something that they shouldn't see

All of the sudden, the flashlight began to fade, and it went completely out Ajax began to hit it, but it was no use Enid gulped

It was almost pitch black, they saw nothing, except the trees that were almost right in front of them, everywhere they looked

It was just the endless darkness, nothing else, they didn't give up and continued walking, but the only thing they fucked up

Was that when the flashlight went out, they looked around and then they began to walk in the wrong way, the forest only got deeper and dense

It got to that point where they were completely lost, the temperature was below zero, probably around minus 2 Celsius (28.4 degrees) Ajax looked at his wristwatch

Two thirtythree, they walked in complete silence, neither of them said a word, and hoped they would find Wednesday

A few minutes passed, and the sound of someone stepping on leaves and sticks were heard, Enid and ajax looked around

But saw no one, then out of nowhere something ran up to them and took ajax, his watch fell off of his wrist and was on the ground

Next to the flashlight, Enid was on the edge of crying and having a panic attack, not knowing what to do, she began to run

The only thing was that she ran in the wrong way, and the forest only got darker with each step she took, Enid didn't want to give up, she might end up dying

Every possible scenario ran trough her mind, then she tripped over something and fell forward, Enid probably dislocated her ankle

Because she wasn't able to get up, the thing was right in front of her, just staring at her, and taking slow steps towards her

Until it was almost standing above her Enid thought that this is the end, maybe Wednesday got the same fate and she was already dead, at least they can be together in the afterlife
