Bad experience

It's been two weeks since Wednesday got a job and a house for herself, now she got her first paycheck, and she got tips too

So now she decided to make her apartment a little better, she was in ikea looking for some furnitures and some paint, she also bought herself a flip phone

She was hesitant to decide which color is better, blue? No it would remind her, to the past and her old house

Red? No too bright, she decided to go with beige, it was the perfect color for the apartment, she put it in the cart and went to the table section

Wednesday did have a table, but it was falling apart, and then she found a cheap one, with two chairs it was perfect for her

An employee came over "hey can I help you?" The boy asked around the same age as her "I could use some help yes"

They lifted the box into the cart "thanks" Wednesday said and smiled at him "I'm Avery" the boy stuck his hand out

Wednesday shook it gently "Veronica"
The boy smiled at her, they let their hands fall "hey can I get your number? That probably sounds weird but I saw you in the paint section and I couldn't take my eyes off of you"

The boy said with a light blush on his face "that does sounds kind of weird" Wednesday said and looked up at him "but sure"

The goth wrote her number on Averys hand then walked away, she heard the boy jumped into the air and yelled "yes" from the top of his lungs

Wednesday smiled, but she had bad experience with man before, so she had to be careful what she does with him

She payed for her stuff, then it hit her how the hell she will carry all these home? Wednesday groaned she can't take it on the bus or train

"Fucking hell!" She cursed to herself "need some help?" a familiar voice asked

It was Avery "I don't how I will get these home"

The boy nodded "I just finished my shift I can take you home, I have a truck"

Wednesday felt her stomach flip, not in a good way "that would be nice, but I had really bad experiences with man before, and I don't really know you that well"

The boy stopped her from talking "don't worry I won't do anything to you, I'm just a nice guy who wants to held you"

Avery said with a soft smile, Wednesday nodded, then they walked to his truck Wednesday buckled up and told him where she lives

The car stopped in front of her apartment "will you help me carry it?" Wednesday asked the boy nodded excitedly

"Hey Nate" Wednesday greeted the landlord, and saw how much Avery is struggling to carry that heavy box, the landlord laughed at him

"Which floor?" The brown haired boy asked and the goth looked at him "fourth"

A painful ten minutes later for Avery, they finally reached her apartment and then Wednesday opened the door and they got the heavy table in the house

"Well thank you for helping me" the goth said and the boy was out of breath he just nodded, and bent over then out his hands on his knees

Wednesday giggled and began to unbox the furniture "well i will text you when I get home, bye Veronica"

Avery said and walked out of the apartment, maybe this boy wasn't so bad after all, the goth thought

Then she began to put the table together, she was sitting with crossed legs on the floor trying to figure out how the hell should she do this

After a while she figured it out, and began to finally put it together, an hour later the table was standing on four legs

Wednesday was proud of herself, she got the old table out and put it in one of the rooms she didn't use, and put the new table into the kitchen

Then it was time to get the chairs together, Wednesday sighed and started to put them together, it took way longer than the table

Almost two hours, Wednesday was about to give up, when she finally figured it out and put the first chair together

It was dark outside, so she put the chair in the kitchen and decided that the other chair isn't so necessary at the moment

She layed down on her bed, and checked her phone, Avery texted her
'Hey, I'm home'

Wednesday smiled 'I put the table together'

Then she decided to take a shower and hit the bed, since she has a day off today, she can finally rest a little, after her shower

Wednesday hit the bed and almost immediately fell asleep, then she remembered enid, and how she just left her behind

The goth wants to see her again, but she can't just go back there, Wednesday was going to get enid out of there, she just needs a plan..
