I stood on my balcony, mesmerized by the ethereal dance of snowflakes against the night sky, taking a contemplative drag from my cigarette. Unable to fall asleep again I had nothing to do but gaze at the sky. Usually I wouldn't smoke at all, but when I'm stressed or something is wrong I can't help but sip on my cigarettes.

I couldn't understand why I saw something like this in my dream. There was something wrong, I've been having weird dreams for days. What I don't understand the most is why my body shows the same reaction to every dream?

After every dream I would wake up with cold sweat dripping down my face, tears running down my eyes and my whole body trembling. It would take me hours to go back to normal. I wonder if it means something.

This all was strange what was going on? First the dreams then the feeling of being watched then the Queen's true colors and then Ryuga's betrayal could this get any worse?

It was almost dusk, everyone from the team started to gather at the gathering point I told them. I had asked Aria to take care of Yuki while I was gone.

"Is everyone ready to leave?"

"Captain Kaguya!!" A guard came running towards us.
"What's wrong?" I ask the guard.

"I was told to inform you that an elite will be joining you there."
Hearing an elite joining us surprised me. Was it that dangerous? Everyone else was surprised as well. This mission was either dangerous or there was something else, and why didn't the Queen tell me about this.

We arrived at the town called 'mystic falls' that was 500 kilometers away from the kingdom. The town reached before afternoon. It was a long journey from the kingdom to mystic falls.

As we reached the town, even from the outside it looked magnificent.
It was a breathtaking beauty; the entire town was adorned by nature's hand. Delicate vines embraced each building, floral tapestries adorned doorways, and vibrant blooms spilled over window boxes, creating a tapestry of colors that harmonized with the landscape.

The people there were also very kind and hospitable they also seemed to be very fond of Queen Ai. We were offered a nice place to stay and they treated us with great respect.

It was afternoon almost dawn. Everyone looked mesmerized seeing this place. It was a visual representation of how towns used to be before.
Since we looked around the town today there wasn't much of an investigation about the case but I still ordered the squad members to take shifts to patrol and keep an eye on what happens.

We all were offered to wear kimono a traditional Japanese dress. With investigating the squad members explored the town as well. This town was so beautiful I could not describe it.

The town itself spoke of ancient times and even the houses were made how they used to be made hundreds of years ago. The people of the village were very fond of the celestials especially the deceased Queen Ai. They were the people who followed the ways that the celestials had originally established for us humans.

Everyone there lived in harmony and peace. Everyone was kind to each other and treated each other as family. The place did not look dangerous at all but I also had a feeling that something evil is lurking here in the dark when I heard what everyone said about the recent attack on the civilians here.

It was midnight as I strolled across the forest bordering the town. Under the moonlit glow the ethereal melody of the rustling leaves and distant whispers of nocturnal creatures accompanied me.

As I approached the rhythmic murmur of the waterfall revealing itself, illuminated by the soft luminescence of the moonbeams.
Its cascading waters sparkled with soft, ethereal radiance, revealing a tranquil pool below. The air was laced with the soothing scent of the moss and damp earth, creating a serene, magical haven where time seemed to momentarily stand still.
