It was a bright early morning when John was waited for Hope to be release. Mr. Brooks bought two cups of coffee. Hope was getting dress in the restroom. The doctor walks in the room. "Alright Miss Brooks you can leave in a little awhile. I will have the nurse bring in the release papers for you to sign." said the doctor. "She is alright though doctor?" ask Mr. Brooks."Yes she is alright." answered the doctor."Thank you very much." said John. The doctor shakes their hands and left the room. Hope was getting her things but realized she didn't have any. The nurse walks in with the papers and Hope signed them. They left the hospital and headed back to the farm. Hope was hesitated to go back at first but her thought of her aunt or her grandmother didn't tell the truth. It seems like forever to get there. Hope just stares out of the window looking at the trees and hills. Finally they reached at the farm. John and Mr. Brooks got of the car but Hope just sat there."Let's us give her a moment." said John."Hope honey we will be inside." said Mr. Brooks.

Hope sat there and thought the meaning of her life. That her life was a lie. Now she didn't know who she is just a girl learning a terrible secret. How will her mother know the truth since she is no longer living! How will her father deal with this secret? She didn't know what to think or react with any emotions? Hope got out of the car and walk towards the pond. She looks down at the water and sees her reflection. The water was so calm that her image was so clear. Hope got startled when a hand touches her shoulder she turns around. It was her father."Hope honey I know about the letter. I was also in shock. But, you need to realize Lucy love you very much. It must have been hard on her to keep this secret from you and your mother. Now, honey we need move on with our lives." said Mr. Brooks."It will be a long time to forgive her. I wish mom was here for she can know the truth, but she isn't here." Hope was saying this while she was crying."How do you know she doesn't know the truth right now? Your mother and Lucy are probably looking down at us right now. If your mother can forgive her you should do the same." said Mr. Brooks. "I will try but it will take some time." said Hope.     Hope and her father walk back to the house. John was waiting outside the porch. Hope looks at his face and gave a big smile. John grabs her and kisses her so hard that she can hardly breathe. "Hope I love you so much. I want you to marry me." said John. Hope didn't know what to say.She looks at him and respond, "Yes I will marry you." John picks her up and swings her.Mr. Brooks just stands there and sees what was happening. His daughter was going to get married. He wishes her mother was here. "Congratulations you two. When will the wedding takes place?" asked Mr. Brooks. "Oh how about this summer. I will like here at the farm." said Hope. "It will be fine for me." said John.Mr. Nile was just walking around the corner of the house and wondering what was going on. "What is this?""Mr. Nile, John and I are getting married and I would like to have it here where my mother and my grandmother grew up." said Hope. "You think you can have it nice and clean by this summer?""You bet Miss. Brooks or should I say Mrs. O'Bryan." said Mr. Nile with a little giggle. "We need to get everything ready for the wedding. There is no time to waste." said Hope with so much emotion. "I know someone to help with the wedding. She was planning my wedding with my fiancé before the accident." said John."Ok John, you give her a call in the morning." said Hope. "I can hardly wait for you to be my wife. I hope the summer will come soon. I love you Hope." said John."So do I can hardly wait for you to be my husband? The summer will be here in three months. I love you too." said Hope. "Let's go inside and start planning the wedding or make a guest list." said Mr. Brooks.Everyone went inside and had some dinner. Mr. Brooks got some paper and pen; start to write the list. Hope seems to be happy again. The night was a beautiful night with stars shiny high into the night sky. "We will invite all our family members back here and John I know your parents are deceased, but my father will be your father." said Hope."Mr. Brooks I know you are giving away Hope, I will like for you to be my best man?" asked John."I will be delighted." said Mr. Brooks.
