Chapter 5 - Feelings

Adora asked for permission and Angella surprisingly let her.

Adoras Phone started ringing. It was Glimmer. "Hello?" "ADORA! We have a little problem about tonight!", Glimmer said in a panicking tone.

"What is it?!", Adora Asked as her mind flooded with confusion and worry. "THERES A LEAK IN GLIMMERS ROOF!", Bow said unexpectedly. "BOW! But yeah, My roof is leaking, Like really, REALLY BAD, Should we just cancel on tonight?"

"What? No! I'm sure we can find another way...", Adora said holding onto her phone in frustration.

Catra thought to herself. 'What if I let them have the dinner at mine?.. wait! It's gonna be weird! Adoras gonna think I'm w-"

"We can do it at my place!", Catra said without thinking. "Are you sure?", Adora raised an eyebrow, Catra nodded. "Uhm okay then... Glimmer we'll do it at Catras place.", Adora said before she hung up.

6:00 PM

"Soo.. uh- is she nice?", Glimmer asked peeking at adora while gripping her purse. Adora glanced back at Glimmer and Bow as she turned the steering wheel. "No, she's a bitch.", Adora replied before Bow gulped. Adora slightly smiled as she continued looking at the front window as they passed by buildings. "I'm joking... only a little.", Adora chuckled softly.

"Does she like Chinese food? I don't know... ugh! Why did my roof have to leak?!", Glimmer complained as she glanced at the tray of Chinese food. "She's rich, she probably made her chefs make food.", Adora said with a straight tone. "Sooo... she is mean?", Bow asked raising an eyebrow before adora lost it. "SHE ISNT MEAN!"

Adora pulled into the entrance driveway as the large gate opened. She drove in further and saw Lonnie looking at her phone standing in front of the large mansion. Lonnie looked at adora and smiled before adora parked in the driveway. The three of them stepped out of the Car. "Hey.", Adora said approaching Lonnie as Glimmer and Bow stood next to eachother nervously with trays of food in their hands.

"Welcome back, and welcome... uh... guest.", Lonnie said stiffening her position and approaching the door and opening it. The cold AC air from inside blew against them. Glimmers dress flowed with the cold air, adora and bows jackets flowd too. "Come in.", Lonnie said as she walked in and they all went inside before the door shut.

The four of them walked in the cold and fancy hallway with paintings on it. Bow and Glimmer looked around. "Little note, Catra isn't really in a good mood right now.", Lonnie warned them. "When is she not.", Adora replied smiling at Lonnie, they both chuckled. "So she is mean?!", Bow said startling all of them almost dropping the tray of food.

"You idiot! You almost dropped the food!", Glimmer said as they all continued walking. They approached a large door. Lonnie opened it. They all entered the main place. There were butlers standing everywhere. There was a large feast prepared on the table, Glimmer and Bow glanced at eachother.

Lonnie grabbed her purse and skipped out the door. It closed behind Bow Glimmer and adora slightly startling them.

"Drinks?", A butler said holding a tray of small drinks to adora. "Oh-! No- no thank you.", Adora said awkwardly. "W- where is your boss?", Adora asked the butler. "She is getting prepared. She will be here.", The butler said before walking away and standing. "Of course she is.", Adora muttered under her breath.

Adora turned her head back to Bow and Glimmer. They all looked at eachother.

"Hey Adora."

Adora turned to the sound of Catras voice. Catra was standing on the top of her staircase. She was wearing a red long dress and heels. She had her hair up and curled. "Wow...", Adora said glancing at catra. "You look horrible.", Adora snickered, teasing catra.
