Oliver Quick sat in the heavily decorated library, across from the only friend he had seemed to make in the last couple of months attending Oxford. The boy didn't really consider Micheal to be a true friend, if he was being honest the boy was more of a pest, but it was better to be with Micheal than to be completely alone.

Micheal was talking Oliver's ear off about some Christmas party tonight that neither of them were invited to. Oliver was half listening to the boy while focusing most of his attention on the two boys who were sitting a couple feet away from them.

He couldn't help himself when he saw Felix Catton and Farleigh Start enter the library. It was like everyone's attention was immediately drawn to the two good looking boys. Oliver knew he should have been a little more careful with his staring but he was just so taken by the two, they were the epitome of everything Oliver wanted to be.

The only thing that pulled Oliver out of his trance was the familiar smell of vanilla that filled his nose. His head immediately perked up and he was on full alert looking for the source of the smell. He had memorized that smell the first day he sat next to her in Professor Ware's office. It soon became his favorite scent, if he could drown in it he would.

And there she was standing over Micheal's shoulder.

"Hey Oliver!" Katerina smiled. "How's Ware's paper coming along?"

"I-its going g-ood." Oliver stuttered. He couldn't believe she was talking to him outside of the classroom.

"I've been struggling with it a bit but I'm planning to work on it with Farleigh. It'll probably be me helping him more than him helping me knowing Farleigh." She laughed glancing over to where the boy was sitting with Felix. Oliver didn't miss the way her blue eyes lingered a little longer on the Catton boy. "If you ever want to join us we would love to have you!"

"Oh I- I don't think Farleigh would like that." Oliver shook his head looking down at the book in front of him.

"I know Farleigh can be a little much but once you get to know him he's not bad."

Oliver didn't know what to say back. He despised Farleigh and he knew the Start boy felt the same way about him.

"Well I better be going. I'm meeting with a friend to study." The blonde said once again looking to where Felix and Farleigh were sitting, both boys were now looking back at her. "Just think about my offer. I'd love to meet up and study with you sometime."

"I'll think about it." Oliver mumbled watching her walk away. He would endure Farleigh's torture if it meant he could spend some time with the Sullivan girl.
