Thursday morning Lio woke up slowly, yawning and looking up at Harry. She thought she could probably get used to waking up like this, cuddled up to him. Propping herself up on her elbow, she brushed the hair out of his face and smiled as his eyes slowly opened.
"G'morning" she tilted her head to the side at him and he grinned sleepily, wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her into him. She snuggled into his warmth, smelling his slightly smoky library scent.
They stayed like that for a while, Harry playing with her hair softly, until 6:30, when her eyes widened and she shot up.
"We have to go! Breakfast has already started!" She jumped out of the bed and found herself in the same clothes as yesterday. She grabbed some clothes and rushed into the bathroom, Harry's eyes never leaving her as she moved around the room. She came back out a few minutes later, her hair brushed and a different shirt and skirt on. She grabbed her wand and satchel and dragged him out the door.
He followed her as she hurried him down the corridors, chuckling at her anxiousness. They finally got to the great hall only 20 minutes late, Harry still in his clothes from yesterday. They sat down at the ravenclaw table next to anthony and started eating.
"Hey Lio! You're the best by the way" Lio laughed, turning to Anthony.
   "I know, but why?"
"Olivia. She's the coolest, she's so pretty and nice and fun, we've been talking a lot" Anthony beamed as he talked about her, his eyes sparkling.
Lio grinned. "Aww you two are cute together" She turned back to her food, picking out the peas from the pasta. Harry held out his plate, and she put them all on it for him to eat. He kept picking them out for her with his fork as she ate the pasta.
Soon breakfast was finished, and Lio stood up.
"Right, I better get going." Harry stood up too, following her.
"I'll walk you" she smiled and they kept walking. Harry slipped his hand into hers and they intertwined their fingers as they went through hallway after hallway until they got to the potions classroom. He kissed her on the head and walked off, leaving her to go in and sit next to Anthony, who grinned at her.
   "Boyfriend drop you off?"
"He's not my- nevermind.." he laughed as her cheeks turned red.
After break she had history of magic, and then it was finally lunchtime.
She sat down with Harry, and Draco immediately rushed over to her.
"Lia you have to help me!" He whined, as Harry gritted his teeth and stared at his plate. Lio knew he would be uncomfortable, so as she turned to Draco she held his hand under the table.
Draco pointed to Daniel, who was firmly attatched to his left leg.
"What do I do?! He's been really clingy all day and I don't know how to handle him anymore! Also he keeps biting me.." Lio chuckled and plucked the little boy off Draco's leg with ease.
"Ok, I'll find someone else to look after him, ok?" Draco sighed.
"Thank you so much you're my hero" he sauntered away, clearly very relieved.
"Hey Danny, did you miss me?" Danny nodded and wrapped his arms around her neck tightly. She smiled and turned to Harry.
"Hey, who do you think could watch him? After the break I have Defence against the dark arts and ancient runes."
"Well, I mean.. I- i could take him, if you want, i have 2 free periods" Harry stammered hesitantly. Lio grinned.
"You'd do that for me?? Thank you so so much Danny will be in great hands!"
She sat the small boy in Harry's lap and grinned. "I'm gonna be late to meet Blaise and Luna, but I'll be back after classes!" She waved, running out of the hall.
Harry looked down at Danny.
   "Um.. hi" he said awkwardly.
   "Hay, hay!" Danny giggled excitedly.
"I can't tell if you're trying to say my name or hi, but you're so cutee" Harry smiled, holding Danny's hands and waving them around.
They spent the rest of his free periods touring hogwarts and saying hi to everyone danny knew (which surprisingly turned out to be a lot of people).
When it was over, Harry picked him up and they went to find Lio.
Trudging through the snow, Harry found her, sitting on a tree stump next to Blaise, laughing. Neville and Luna were marvelling at a type of winter plant in the lake. Lio turned around as soon as she heard their footsteps.
"Harry, Danny! How are my boys?" She beamed, rushing over to them and giving them a hug. "How did it go?"
Harry grinned. "We had fun, didn't we Danny?"
Danny giggled. "Hawy's my favouwit! I like him mo dan you!"
Lio picked him up in her arms and swung him around, tickling him.
"What do you mean you like him better than me?? Huh? Huh?" She smiled as he laughed uncontrollably. She cuddled him into her and kissed his forehead, and Harry watched the two fondly.

At dinner, Draco came up to Lio and tapped her shoulder.
"Hey, can i talk to you in private?" He looked at her worriedly.
"Yeah, ok." She turned to Harry. "I'll be right back." She said, walking off leaving Danny in his lap.
Outside the Great Hall, Draco didn't stop, instead holding her arm and dragging her all the way to the astronomy tower.
"Draco was this really necessary?! It's fucking freezing up here!" She said shivering. He looked at his feet.
"Sorry. I just can't have anyone hearing us. I have news."
Lio stopped complaining and looked at him softly. "What happened?"
"My dad- He's catching on to the whole Danny thing. I did everything in my power to keep him from being suspicious, but if he finds out, he could kill him. I can't lose him, i just-" his eyes welled with tears.
Lio held his shoulders to steady him, stroking them slowly.
"Hey, it'll be ok. Don't worry, it'll be ok." She hugged him and he sniffled into her shoulder. "Look, I'll just take care of him for now, until your dad gives up the chase and then you'll be able to see him again, ok? It'll be difficult to explain to Danny, but i'll make sure everything's fine, ok? Don't worry."
He pulled back and thanked her, and they went back to the great hall to their respective seats.
Harry looked at her quizzicaly and she nodded subtly, telling him that she's tell him about it later. Danny chewed on a spoon in his lap, completely oblivious to the situation.
After dinner, Lio said goodnight to Hermione and Ron and her, Harry and Danny went to the Ravenclaw tower. As they finally got inside, Harry sighed, panting as she let Danny run off into her bathroom.
"Y'know, we really need to compromise on the whole sleepover thing. Next time, you're sleeping with me in the gryffindor tower, not at the top of the castle." He huffed, making Lio laugh as they got to her dorm.
"Ok, fine. We'll take it in turns from now on." She walked in and closed the door behind them. "Ok so, Draco can't look after Danny anymore, because someone is suspicious and if he's caught they'll hurt him, so it's going to be up to me from now on to look after him."
Harry looked worried. "I'll help." Lio stared at him. "I don't love Malfoy, but if he cares about Danny that's good i guess, and i can't just let you shoulder this on your own.. will you let me help?" He scratched the back of his neck hesitantly.
She stared at him for a few more seconds, before her face broke out into a beautiful smile and she swung her arms around his neck. He stumbled backwards, hugging back.
"You." She said, cupping his face in her hands. "You are the most amazing person i know, I love you so much!" She hugged him again as she realized what she said, both of them hiding their red faces in each other's shoulders.

After getting herself and Danny ready for bed, Lio got under the covers, Harry's arms open and waiting. She climbed into them and Danny snuggled into the middle of their hug, falling asleep as soon as they did.
