"Oi! Wake up, we have to go to work!"
That was all Phil heard before a bucket of cold water was poured onto his body, stinging like a thousand knives.
"Was that really necessary, Dan?" Phil groaned, as he stripped the covers off of his body to reveal blue and yellow Pokemon pjs.
"It absolutely was, you slept through your alarm and you wouldn't wake up no matter how loud I yelled. Anyways, they need us to do a character meet and greet in Adventureland today. Chris and Luke apparently aren't the only ones that the kids want to meet." Dan retorted.
Phil groaned again as he groggily trudged into the bathroom to brush his teeth. Dan took this time to pull on his shoes and grab the car keys. Phil came out a minute later looking slightly less dead and went over to his dresser to put on some quite... colorful clothes.
The boys left their apartment that sat on the edge of the resort to go down to the car. Dan, being the gentleman that he isn't to anybody but Phil, opened Phil's door for him. (This also was possibly because Phil looked as if he were about to collapse any minute.)
Dan got in and started the car. Immediately he moved to turn on the radio, accidentally blasting the loud sounds of My Chemical Romance's Planetary (GO!) throughout the car, scaring Phil into waking up.
"Sorry, sorry! I didn't realize it would come on that loud! Go back to sleep!" Dan quickly turned down the volume inside the car.
"I can't now. And I love this song!" Phil began to sing along.
It was going to be a long day.

As soon as they had their costumes on, Dan as Chip the chipmunk and Phil as Dale the chipmunk, they were rushed over to where Chris and Luke were waiting, dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow and Will Turner. Luke looked so much like Orlando Bloom did as Will it was scary.
"Aye, mate," Chris nudged the other pirate, getting his attention. "I always said those two had fat cheeks!"
You couldn't see it, but underneath the Chip costume, Dan was giving Chris a very, very dirty look.
For Dan, Phil, Chris, and Luke, the next few hours consisted of pretending like they were actually the characters that they were dressed up as. Nobody really even questioned that two chipmunks were hanging out with two of the most famous pirates in Disney history. Autographs were signed, children's days were made, and everybody was very happy. They were, of course, at the happiest place on Earth.
Lunch break finally came and the boys hopped on the monorail (after ditching their costumes) and walked the long, long journey from the transportation system to Morocco's restaurant.

Dan and Phil finally managed to break away from Chris and Luke, they had only just made it back to Dan's car in the parking lot of the Magic Kingdom park when Dan's phone made the annoying buzzing sound that Phil hates so much.
"Who's texting me at 9 o'clock?" Dan protested.
"I don't know. What makes you think that I know?" Phil complained, tired eyes closed from a day of hard work.
