Ch.8

*Quinn Pov*

I was slightly out of breath by the time I got the the store I looked around and saw no one. I sat down and waited. Then a car pulled up I stood up and got ready to run, but I saw Taylor in the car I ran to them. They hopped out of the car and hugged me.

"Oh my fucking god are you alright?" They asked. I nodded. "Okay come into the car." I hopped into their moms car.

"Hi, I'm Taylor's mom heard you were in trouble." Taylors mom said looking at me through the mirror.

"Hi, yeah i guess you could say that." I said not wanting to get into the details.

"Well you're  welcome at our house anytime." She said starting to pull out of the parking lot.

"Thanks." I said.

Soon we got to Taylors house. we walked into the house and their was an amazing vibe it was very homey. 

"I'll show you to the guest room," Taylor said lightly punching my arm. They took me down the hall way and turned left they opened a door, and I was amazed the room was a nice orange color and their were thick comfy sheets on the bed. I set down my bag on the bed. "I'll leave you to get settled, oh and dinner's in an hour." 

"Thanks Taylor."

"No problem man." They said walking out of the room. I sat on the bed and wondered what to do. I grabbed my phone and realized it was almost dead I grabbed my charger and charging cube and found a place I could charge my phone. I decided to set up a mini alter just in case I needed it. By the time I was done fussing over it Taylor was knocking the the door saying it was time for dinner. I got up grabbed my phone and headed to the kitchen.

"Hey, hope you like hot dogs." Said Taylors mom the one that drove me here.

"Yeah thank you." I said sitting down.

"Hi i'm Danny." Said the other mom of the house.

"Hi, Quinn."

"Oh I'm sorry I never introduced my self I'm Piper." We all sat down and ate. It was kinda awkward I hadn't had a proper dinner sense my mom left. I didn't say that obviously I didn't wanna start something. After dinner I headed to bed I washed up a bit and sat down in the bed.

"I wonder what dad is going to think?" I ask aloud knowing no one will answer, just then my phone dinged. I grabbed it.

Hi, I knocked on your window you didn't answer hope your okay

I thought of what to say that wouldn't make Alex go crazy.

I'm fine i'm just a Taylors
My dad got a drunk didn't wanna get in the middle of that again

Why didn't you come it my place I'm a lot closer

I didn't wanna stress you out you need rest
Speaking of rest go to bed you need it

I turned off my phone and buried my self in the blankets. I made a slighlent promis to tell Alex in the morning.
