Part 38

Jimin looked at his watch. It's 1: 15 p.m.

He went towards his car and started the engine. He drove to Suzy's school as her classes will be over soon.

He reached her school at time and stand in the front of the gate with the other parents, who were waiting for their children.

The bell rang and in few minutes , children ran out of the hallway and went towards their parents.

In some good minutes, all the children went out of the school except one.

Jimin looked at the left & right but he doesn't find Suzy. He didn't saw her coming out of the hallway. So, to make sure that his daughter was inside or somewhere else , he ran towards her classroom.

He reached her class and looked inside from the window. There was no sign of her in inside.

He walked towards the other classes and checked it from outside and calling her name again and again.

His body get tensed up as there was no sign of her.

He walked towards the other side of the hallway where he saw Mr. Han . He is the homeroom teacher of Suzy.

Mr. Han looked at him and smiled
" Mr. Park , it's glad to see you he-. "

" Mr. Han, did you saw Suzy? " Jimin asked him, cutting off his sentence.

Mr. Han looked at his tensed face. He nodded " I saw her in the playground. Is everything alright Mr. P -" he cut off again as Jimin ran towards playground as soon as he got to know where she was.

Mr. Han looked at him, running there. He was quite confused by it.

Meanwhile,
Jimin reached there.
He looked at here and there . There were no one present.

He was about to call her name when he heard someone light sobs.

He walked towards the side from where the sound of sobs came.

As he moved forward the low sound of sobs get more audible to him to heard that.

He looked behind the play house and his eyes widened.

He saw his daughter Suzy crying, sitting behind the playhouse. Her knees were closer to her chest and she placed his head on her knees and sobbing hard.

Jimin heart pierced, looking at her daughter crying there. He take slow steps and kneel down infront of her.

She was crying as she didn't felt the presence of someone.

Without wasting any time, Jimin embraced her in his arms. She flinched at his sudden actions but soon, she relaxed as she got to know who was that.

He placed his one hand on her head and the another one on her back. She hugged his back with her little hands and crying loudly in his arms.

" Appaaaaa...Aa..A....Appa. " she cried harder as Jimin bit his lower lip to prevent himself from crying. It's really hard for him to saw his daughter like this.

He hugged tightly and let her out her emotions for few minutes and caressed her back.

" I'm here Suzy. Don't cry. Appa is here. " he spoke.

" Appaaaa Why???...Why... me Appaaa?? "

"I'm here, lil mochi. Everything is alright." he broke the hug and wiped her tears.

He caressed her cheeks from his thumb
" Don't worry now. Whatever it is. Appa will protect you from it. " he said and again embraced her in his arms.

She stopped crying and nod her head. She felt warmth and comfort in his arms and mostly protected.

As a few minutes passes,
Jimin lifted her up in his arms and walked towards the car.

Mr. Han saw them in their way. He was about to asked something but Jimin stopped him by showing him sign to 'not talked about anything right now '.

He nodded and looked at them worriedly as Jimin face was stressed.

Jimin placed Suzy in his lap and drove off to the home.

On the whole way, Suzy was quiet which wasn't normal as she is the talkative one.
She was silent and eventually felt asleep there .

They arrived their home and he picked her in his arms and walked towards the door.

He entered the door password and went inside, just to saw Mrs. Lee and Yoongi were looked stressed .

They looked at him and Mrs. Lee went towards him and about to say something when Jimin stopped her and walked towards his bedroom and placed Suzy in the bed.

He removed her shoes and hairband and placed the duvet on her and walked downstairs.

Mrs. Lee and Yoongi looked at him " Why you didn't picked up my calls, Jimin? It's being more than a two hour and you didn't came with Suzy. I got tensed up. " Mrs. Lee said.

He just nod his head. They noticed the absence of his mind.

" What happened, Jimin? Is everything alright?" She spoke softly, gaining his attention.

" Nothing is alright, Nanny."

" Why? What happened? Is something happened between you and Suzy or something else?"

" No. I saw lil mochi..." he took a deep breath.

" What happened with Princess, Jimin?" Yoongi questioned him.

" I saw her crying." He said as he was holding back his tears.

" Why did she cried? Is someone fight with her or any teacher scold her?" he asked.

Jimin shook his head " I don't know hyung. As she was crying a lot. I took her home and on the way, she slept . " he spoke as they nod their head.

Yoongi patted his shoulder " Don't worry. I guess teacher get angry on her. That's why she gets upset."

He nod " I guess so." Jimin spoke and walked towards the bedroom.

He saw his daughter sleeping peacefully, holding her duvet tightly. He caressed her head softly .

" Whatever it is , Appa will protect you."

He went to take a warm shower and changed his clothes.

As he walked out , he saw Suzy was awake. She was sitting on the bed.

" Appa " she spoke with sleepy tone while rubbing her eyes.

" You are awake , lil mochi. " he said as he embraced her in his arms and patted her back.

" Appa, I'm scared. " She said snuggling into his chest as he felt the warmth of tears poured down in his shirt.

He made her look at him " What happened lil mochi? You can tell me. " he gently spoke.

She thought for seconds as she hesitated a bit before saying.

" Appa you won't leave me right?" She asked making him confused by her unexpected question.
