Evening approached as Ivy found herself alone in the apartment. She anticipated a significant day ahead, which involved a planned picnic outdoors with Fugo. However, this prospect gave rise to some suspicions within her. What if he had developed feelings for her? Ivy let out a sigh and settled on the couch, where her three cats gathered around her. The first male cat, with a small tail, was named Jury. The second male cat, adorned with black spots on his head, went by the name of Rocky. Lastly, there was a female orange kitten named Luna.

Ivy lifted Rocky and placed him gently on her lap, tenderly stroking his fur with her delicate fingers. "A picnic with Fugo isn't that bad, right Rocky?" Rocky responded with a meow while gazing up at her with dilated pupils. This sight brought a wide smile to Ivy's face, but it quickly faded into a frown.

"But... I can't trust him right away..." Ivy commented in a hushed tone, revealing the lingering pain in her heart from past experiences, particularly those involving unrequited love.

As she realized it was 11pm, she gently placed Rocky down from her lap and rose from the couch. "I should go change and sleep. Tomorrow, I have a date after all." she stated, and proceeded to her bedroom, allowing her feline companions to trail behind her.

As the morning sun rose above the horizon, Ivy's phone buzzed with messages, mostly from Fugo. He was inquiring if she was awake and prepared for their scheduled outing.

Fugo: Good morning, Ivy.

Fugo: I hope you're ready for our date today!

Fugo: Hello?

Fugo: Ivy?

Ivy expressed a tired sigh and stirred in her sleep, firmly pressing her hand against the persistently beeping alarm as she reached for her phone to check the messages. She hadn't anticipated Fugo messaging her so frequently, but her curiosity prompted her interest in his intentions.

Ivy: I'm awake. Sorry for making you worry.

Fugo: Oh thank god. I was worried for a sec but thats okay!

Ivy greeted his prompt response with a smile and promptly rose from her bed to change for their date. Fugo would be picking her up at 8:30 am, compelling her to hasten as it was presently 8:10. "What should I wear?" she pondered aloud, sifting through her clothing with her hands.

Ultimately, she discovered some comfortable attire suitable for the picnic and donned it while awaiting Fugo's arrival at her residence

Ultimately, she discovered some comfortable attire suitable for the picnic and donned it while awaiting Fugo's arrival at her residence.

Fugo: I'm here.

Ivy received a notification indicating his presence outside her apartment. Consequently, she efficiently packed her belongings and stepped out to meet his gaze. "Hey, Fugo..." she greeted bashfully, approaching him closely. Fugo on the other hand, was devastated whilst his eyes were analyzing her attire. She was wearing a sleek black top paired with an off-shoulder black-grey plaid jacket. The ensemble is completed with edgy ripped denim black jeans, fishnet stockings, and a sporty touch with white trainers.

"You-you look nice today." Fugo stuttered, his cheeks reddening quickly, despite his attempt to hide the blush. However, his comment elicited a chuckle from Ivy as she awkwardly scratched the back of her neck. "Are you ready to go?"

"Y-Yeah.."

The pair got into Fugo's car and drove to a nearby park for their picnic date. Although their outing was interrupted by constant messages from other members of Team Bucciarati, they managed to ignore their concerns and enjoy their own company.

After some time, they finally arrived at the park and found a serene spot for their picnic. Ivy spread out the blanket on the grass and sat down with Fugo, placing the basket beside them. "It's a beautiful day, isn't it?" Fugo began, gazing up at the azure sky before noticing Ivy munching on a croissant with a hot dog inside. He couldn't help but smile as he watched her enjoy the food.

"You must have been very hungry before we arrived..." Fugo chuckled, his face turning slightly red. However, his attention was drawn to a flower shop nearby. Since they were on a date, he thought it would be a nice gesture to buy Ivy some flowers.

"Stay here. I'll be right back."

"Alrighty." Ivy responded, continuing to eat her croissant as she watched Fugo stand up and walk away from their picnic spot. She wasn't sure where he was going, but she hoped he would return soon.

As Ivy waited alone on the blanket, she noticed a random man approaching her, likely because he saw she was alone. Ivy raised an eyebrow and looked at him curiously.

"Are you alone? Sorry to startle you, I just wanted to say hi." the man chuckled, extending his hand for a handshake. "I'm Alessandro, but you can call me Alex."

"I'm Ivy. It's nice to meet you." she replied with a smile, shaking his hand in greeting.

Eventually, Fugo left the flower shop with a bouquet of morning glories, intending to surprise Ivy. He remembered everything she loved and hoped she would appreciate the gift. However, as he walked back to their picnic spot, he froze in shock when he saw Ivy interacting with the random man. Furrowing his eyebrows, he lost control of his emotions.

"Leave her alone!" Fugo yelled, forcefully turning the man around and punching him in the face. He was so angry that he felt compelled to continue assaulting the man, but Ivy intervened.

"Fugo!"

Fugo breathed heavily, his angry eyes widening as he looked at Ivy. She appeared disappointed with his actions. "Didn't you learn anything from our previous session? No violence!" Eventually calming down, Fugo frowned and glanced at the man who was clutching his bleeding nose after Fugo's punch.

"Ivy, I thought he..." Fugo began to explain himself but stopped, realizing she probably wouldn't listen to him anyway. "I'm sorry," he muttered, picking up the bouquet of morning glories and offering it to her. "I bought this for you. If you don't like it, that's fine." Fugo sighed and walked away, leaving Ivy and the man alone.

"FUGO!"

Despite Ivy's attempts to make him stop, Fugo continued walking forward. Ivy gasped and frowned at his actions. "Alessandro... I'm sorry about this." she apologized, gathering her belongings and preparing to leave. Alessandro watched Ivy depart, unable to believe what had just transpired.

Later in the afternoon, Ivy returned to her apartment on foot. As she closed the door behind her and leaned against it, her head hung low. She glanced at the bouquet Fugo had bought for her, and tears welled up in her eyes. What if she had ruined everything between them? This thought caused her to vent her frustration by pounding her fist and kicking the door. "Why... WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME?!" Ivy exclaimed in frustration. Despite her attempts to calm down, she couldn't shake off the blame she placed on herself for everything.

Eventually, she sat down on the couch and rested her back against the seat, only for her phone to light up with a notification.

Bucciarati: How was the date? Did it go well?

Ivy let out a sigh and picked up her phone to respond to Bucciarati's message.

It was a disaster.
