"So...You're leaving..." The director asked me leaning against my doorframe. I didn't have a lot of items to pack, but I did have lots of clothes. It was the only thing I really indulged in here. I folded up my dressed placing it into the box.
My room...the room I've been in for 9 years of my life. Now that I think about it I've known this woman for nine years of my life too.
"Izana wants me to live with him, don't worry I won't kill you." I chuckled the director stopped leaning on the wall standing nervously. "Well...if you say a word. That might be different......" I stood up walking in her direction. The director freaked out backing up until she hit the orphanage wall.
"P-please don't..." She begged.
"I'm not going to hurt you...." I placed a hand on her forehead. Using my vampiric abilities I erased all her memories of my existence, a handy ability I...wait where did I even learn it from? My parents I guess..? No...instinct..sometimes these days being a vampire and understanding myself comes easy as breathing. Looking down at my hand I pondered, I wonder if there's any other vampires out there.
The director was passed out I shrugged and finished packing up my items, everything fit inside one backpack and suitcase. I dragged it across the dormitory passing by Izana's empty room slowly then when I made it to the courtyard I stopped. I was feeling a bit sentimental, after all I might of been attached to this place despite everything. I visited the alleyway where I cried for the first time thanks to Izana, the tree we would always sleep under.
Looking at the floorboards of the orphanage my feet took me to the basement. I walked down the steps. My heart was growing heavier and heavier. I stopped coming here after the day I killed all the researchers.
Trembling...I opened the door to the laboratory slowly.
"Ah, Ro1 nice you could make it take a seat."
Flinching I turned around, nobody was there. I shakily walked to the operating table.
"Today is a high dosage so you'll be in lots of pain~ Give it your best R01"
"Amazing, we could use this discovery to make the ultimate weapon!!!"
"How fascinating this didn't happen before, her organs are regenerating despite being removed five years ago."
"P-please stop...it hurts.."
"She's three years old, sigh I wish she was older whatever strap her in."
"Pain...blood! I don't like it doctor it hurts!!"
"Oh your foot fell off? I guess it's just a side effect of the experiments. While your here I'll be taking some of your muscle tissue too."
"I...It hurts....."
"Stop it!"
"It hurts?"
"It doesn't hurt?"
"Stop it..."
"Stop it."
"Someone help me.."
"Why won't anyone help me."
"Director?"
"Do it for us okay Ruby~"
"Stop it..."
"Hold her down we're cutting through the bone."
"No.."
"No!"
"No!"
"Don't Touch me!" As if I was snapping out of a trance I stopped touching the operating table. "Haah...haah.." I backed up against the wall falling down.
