Seven months pregnant and her pregnancy had thankfully been going well. She was able to find a nice cabin where she had been staying. She's heard how Alucruad had escaped his confinement and teamed up with the Belmont along with a sorceress.
Meanwhile, she's been feasting on travelers who passed which unknown to her had earned the attention of her stepson and his companions.
Katherine hung the blankets outside as the breeze moved her long black locks. She bends down carefully caressing her swollen bump, and hangs another sheet. Katherine picks up her basket and begins walking back before turning at the sound of a snap from a stick.
"Hello? Anyone there?" She yelled out as Alucruad and his friends revealed themselves.
At the sight of her stepson and the Belmont, her eyes widen as she drops the basket and holds her belly in fear for her and the baby's life.
"So, you're the vampire responsible for the fellow traveler's disappearance, heh?" Trevor asks a scared Katherine.
"What do you care, Belmont?!"
"We're just here to talk," Alucruad informs her.
"What's your name?" He asks calmly as Sypha and Trevor don't lower their guard.
"Katherine. Katherine Tepes."
Everyone's eyes widen especially Trevor's.
"Fuck me! That's Dracula's wife."
"What the fuck are you talking about?" Alucruad turns confused to Trevor.
"Daddy, didn't tell you? Your mother was his second wife. Katherine is his first wife and has been for centuries since he has existed! Not to mention, that she killed my uncle and pregnant aunt!" Trevor glares at the pregnant Katherine.
Trevor dashes to her holding his whip about to strike her only for Alucraud to get in his way. Katherine's eyes widen at Alucraud and stands behind him.
"What are you doing?!"
"You won't hurt her."
"She killed my family!"
"YOUR FAMILY KILLED MY DAUGHTER!" She spits back softening everyone's eyes and piting the woman.
Alucraud turns to his scared stepmother and his eyes soften as he looks down at her belly.
"Forgive me. My father never mentioned you and....please I wish to talk."
Katherine nods hesitantly allowing the three travelers to enter her home.

"Tea?" She asks them and they nod as they sit.
"May we ask you anything?"
Katherine nods serving them all tea and sitting in front of them all.
"I wish to begin! Why the fuck are you doing here? Wouldn't Dracula want to his pregnant wife in his castle?"
"Trevor!" Sypha hits the Belmont as Alucruad apologizes to Katheine.
"It's alright, Alucruad. As for your question Belmont let's just say my husband has been an "imbecile" as of late."
"What about my sister?" Alucruad asks stunning Katherine as she looks at her stepson.
"S-Sorry, it's just that you mentioned her earlier, and I-"
"It's alright." Katherine smiles softly turning to look at all of them.
"She was three months and you're mother was pregnant with you. The Belmont sneaked in and killed her while I was gone." Katherine ters up glaring at Trevor who looked away from her.
"My child was cut up, so I returned the favor."
She turns back to Alucruad and smiles softly as he apologizes to her for making her remember her child's death.
"It's alright, little one. As I suspect, you and your friends are going to kill your father. Am I correct?" The three nod and expect her to kick them out but instead she shakes her head softly.
"He was changing."
"What?" Alucruad asks confused as Katherine tears up.
"Your father. For once he was begging to change, but...I don't what has gotten to him, Alucruad. The only reason I'm here it's cause he kicked me out. He believes I cheated on him and-Fuck!" Katherine yells out as she feels a sharp pain.
"Y-You alright?!" Alucruad asks worried for his stepmother.
They all look down and their eyes widen at seeing her water has broken.
"T-The baby. It's coming." Katherine groaned as Sypha and Alucruad helped her get up.
"Oh, shit."

Katherine's screams fill the cabin as she keeps on pushing, as Sypha has been helping her. Alucruad and Trevor were by her side as she held both their hands.
Feared filled her believing she was having another stillborn.
"Almost there! Push again!"
"I can't!" Katherine sobs as she shakes her head.
"Yes, you can."
"I can't! I can't do this! I need him, Alucruad! I want him here!" Katherine cried as her stepson took a towel and placed it on her sweaty forehead.
"Yes, you can. Come on, if not for you then for the baby."
Katherine turns to Alucruad and nods before pushing one last time. Soon, small cries fill the room, and Alucruad hands Sypha his cape so his baby sister is wrapped warmly around it.
"A girl." Sypha smiles as she passes the babe to her big brother.
Alucruad walks to his stepmother and softly hands his sister to her mother. Katherine tears up in happiness and kisses her little one's forehead seizing her cries.
"She's beautiful." She cries as she looks up and thanks Sypha.
"Hi, sweetheart." Katherine smiles as her baby comes and holds her finger. Her daughter opens her little eyes and Alucruad gasps at seeing his sister had his father's eyes. Katherine tears up kissing her cheek and touching her little nose with hers.
"Hi, little one. I'm your mommy." She giggles softly as her daughter turns to her big brother and his friends.
"That's your big brother, baby."
Katherine gestures to Alucruad to come and hands her daughter back to him.
"Hi..."
"Elizabeth." Katherine smiles as her stepson nods and turns back to his babysitter.
"Hi, Elizabeth. I'm Alucruad your brother."
