Ariella Maria Clarke Martini.
"Oh she's there." Jess exclaims after we finally managed to find Leah in the Emirates stadium boxes.
After so much talk, I finally came to watch an Arsenal game again.
"I can't believe this is happening to me." Jessica repeats for the thousandth time. This time she puts an arm around my neck and kisses my cheek. "Thank you for being born with a perfect face and a questionable sense of humor, that was enough for you to make an Arsenal player fall in love with you, I love being your best friend."
I prefer not to answer her, I roll my eyes at what she said as I walk to where Leah is sitting.
A few chairs are occupied around her, but most are empty.
The player smiles and winks at me as soon as she notices my presence.
She's wearing an Arsenal coat, she looks beautiful. I try not to praise, but it's impossible to avoid when it comes to Leah.
She got up to greet me and Jess, my friend is hyperventilating next to me. I don't think I've ever seen her so nervous before.
"Hello, beautiful!" She laughs as she hugs me, probably laughing at Jess's reaction.
"Hi, this is Jessica. You already know that she is a huge fan of you and the team." I say introducing the two women to each other.
"Hi, thank you for your appreciation and thank you very much for being responsible for this woman here coming to watch the games. You have a good taste." Leah says pointing at me and hugging Jess, who is laughing and quickly turning red.
"Thank you for all your service to women's football. And don't worry, I'll bring Ariella to the next games." My best friend is serious and determined, who does Jess think she's meeting? Royalty?
"Oh, I'm glad I can count on you on this." they hold hands, making me laugh at them as I sit in the stands.
"Ella told me that you are a big fan of Mccabe, would you mind meeting her later?" Leah keeps up the conversation with Jess as she sits next to me.
"What?! Are you serious?" my friend lets out an embarrassingly loud scream.
"Wow, you really are a fan. But I'm serious, there's a good chance she's in the club we're going to later."
"Oh my God, thank you so much Leah. You are the best, the best girlfriend Ella could ever get." I widen my eyes and raise my eyebrows at my friend. She ignores it and continues talking about her Irish player with Leah.
"I'm loving her, I understand why you like her so much." Leah, noticing that I was tense and silent for a while, holds my hand and speaks close to my ear.
"Thank you for introducing her to Mccabe and for watching the game with us, you had no obligation and I know you should stay with Laura there too." I say pointing to the other player still injured who are near the Arsenal bench.
