It was the day before New Year's Eve also the day before New Year's Eve also 2 days before Adalind turned 16. And Amanda was excited to be celebrating with her best friend. They were currently sitting in Amanda's room at her mom house. "So on your birthday we're going to go out and do something."
"Ok." Adalind nodded continuing to read the book on her phone. She knew her best friend was dragging her into something whether she wanted it or not.
Amanda groaned she hated that it felt like she was having a one-sided conversation. But again she did know her best friend read to escape the world. "Do you have anything you specifically want to do?"
Adalind set her phone down looking over her best friend and shaking her head. She hated her birthday. "Not really i hate that my birthday is on New Years day it sucks. Holiday birthdays suck."
"I know but we can make it fun." Amanda knew her mom would let them do pretty much anything since it was Adalind's birthday.
"How are we going to do that?" Adalind asked slightly confused.
Amanda shrugged she would figure it out but she was going to make sure that her bestie enjoyed her day. "I'm not sure but we have a day to figure it out."

Aviana had news to share to her sons so in true fashion she yelled making them all come down. She didn't have time to be nice right now. "FAMILY MEETING ALL EIGHT OF YOU GET YOUR ASSES DOWN HERE!"
The eight brothers headed downstairs to the living room where Aviana was waiting. They were all confused on the urgent family meeting. "Yes."
"We need to talk all of you have a seat." Aviana knew something's she was about to say they weren't going to be happy about but since none of them wanted to take over the Mafia she didn't really care about their opinions.
"Did someone fuck up already?" Lorenzo asked. As the oldest he was expected to take over but he was waiting it out. He didn't care to be in charge of everything. He was leaving that to one of his little brothers.
Aviana shook her head she wished but she hadn't been that lucky. "No."
"Then can we ask what this is about?" Jaylen asked he knew if she was calling them down it was important.
"Matteo and Justin are going to Cali later today to handle somethings so before they go we need to talk." Aviana wanted to make a few things clear on how they were supposed to act with everything that was about to happen.
"About what?" Lukas asked confused.
"All of your uncles and aunts are going to be here your grandmother and your cousins for New Years Eve." Aviana finished and all 8 of the brothers groaned obviously not liking this.

"Can't we only have Vivian and our aunts?"
Aviana shook her head since she was still in charge this was the way to go. "Unfortunately no."
"Ugh! This is not fair." Jacob groaned. He knew all of them agreed with
"Life isn't fair." Aviana argued. She knew they didn't want it but currently, she had other priorities for anything. "And until one of you guys steps up and decides you want to own the Mafia i can't help you"
Dion scoffed he thought it was clear the wait was going to be forever because none of them wanted anything to do with this. "We don't want it"
"We're just waiting for one of them to fuck up." Jaylen added. He knew that was the goal they're were eight of them in total four who were over 18. It should have happened and it wasn't his fault it didn't.
Aviana glared between the eight of them she got why they were waiting but it was messing with her. "Well i need one of y'all to hurry that up I'm tired of being in charge."
"It is not our fault."
"They're are four of us over the age of 18 if they don't fuck up already and take responsibility." Dion groaned he was 16 soon to be 17 he had no interest in taking over this mafia. He was literally one of two youngest he didn't want it.
"No way." Matteo shook his head, he liked being the doctor he didn't want to own the whole damn thing.
"It'll never happen." Lorenzo scoffed. Second in command was as far as he was willing to go.
"Great now that you have decided that best behavior when everyone else is here do you understand me." Aviana asked. Since she was in charge she didn't care what they wanted or didn't want.
"Yes."
"Fine."
"I don't want to."
"I don't care what you want you are going to do what i said."
"Fine."
"Thank you."
