004. THE OGRE AND THE PIGGY

Chapter four

"The ogre and the piggy."

Laying in her bed under the covers, Allison didn't wanna come out of hiding, wanting to never go back to school again, as the sound of someone knocking on her bedroom door could be heard "Ali, it's grandma, your friend Aisha's here!" she called out, but Allison didn't reply back or get out of bed to answer the door, as her grandma she turned to Aisha who was standing there with her book bag dressed and ready for school "she's taking what happened at the halloween dance a little hard. She's not exactly used to being made fun of." she shared, as Aisha nodded "no, sweat, I'll make sure she get's up and goes to school." she told her.

"Thank you, sweetheart." Allison's grandma told her, as she turned walking around her and heading down the hallway, Aisha took a deep breath, opening the door she walked into the room, which was completely pitch black, as she dropped her book bag on the ground, she shut the door behind her, as she walked toward's the curtains she pulled them open, bringing the light in, as she then turned around, only seeing a lump under the covers "Ali?" she asked her, walking over to her "princess Fiona!" she voiced, and as she did, Allison groaned "no!" she voiced, making Aisha laugh ";princess Fiona, it's day time which means you are no longer in ogre form so get up!" she voiced, pulling the covers off of her.

But Allison was holding onto them, although Aisha being bigger then her was also stronger as she pulled Allison off of her and onto the floor, Allison huffed, looking up at her, where her hair was all over the place, making Aisha chuckle "wow." she said, as Allison grabbed the blanket going to throw it back over her head "no, no, no! It's time to get up and shower while I pick out your clothes!" Aisha voiced, picking her up off the floor, and moving her toward's the bathroom.

Where heading into school, Allison was wearing a green dress, as she walked with Aisha "are you trying to have me embrace my inner ogre? Because if I did I would totally kick all these people's butts who keep staring at us and laughing." she shared, as Aisha shrugged "but we enjoy staying in school so we're not gonna do that." she told her, as the two headed down the stairs, people were snorting and roaring at them as others laughed, the two then made it down the steps and to their lockers, opening them, Sam was standing there "great, you here to put onions in my backpack because that keeps happening and I've only just walk through the door." Allison shared.

Looking to Aisha "told you she'd stab us in the back." she added on, as the two began getting out what they needed "no, I wanted to see how you guys were feeling? I had nothing to do with this!" Sam voiced "we've gone viral. How'd do you think we are?" Aisha asked her "Cheeto face! And ogre girl!" a girl voiced as she walked past "they're mean, but they have short memories. They'll forget." Sam shared, making Allison chuckle "yeah, says the girl who's face isn't all over the internet." she shared, as her and Aisha shut their lockers "when it happens to you, I'll say the same thing." Allison added on "because we won't forget." Aisha told her, as the two walked around Sam and headed off "hey, Miss Shrek and Miss Piggy." a girl told them, as they walked past.

Having chosen not to eat in the cafeteria, Allison was sitting in counselor Blatt's office eating her lunch and as she did, Counselor Blatt looked at her "so, your grandma called me.." she began, as Allison huffed "you know that boy you mentioned the other day about his facial deformity? That was my friend Eli the one who Yasmine made fun of and you talking about his problem in front of everyone in that cafeteria only made him feel worse instead of better." she shared, as Counselor Blatt chuckled "well, I didn't mean for it to turn out like that." she shared, and as she did, Allison chuckled "of course you didn't! Because if you did, it wouldn't have happened again under your watch to both me and Aisha! Everyone in this school is calling us online and in this school Cheeto face. Ogre. Piggy. Miss piggy, Miss Shrek." she shared, shaking her head.

"And then they're commenting. Oh, don't be friends or date her, she'll eat your food. Or don't be friends or date her, she'll turn you into an ogre for the rest of your life." she shared, scoffing "I mean moving here was supposed to make things different, to change things, but in all reality, all moving here did was make me the laughing stock of this school, which makes me want to hurt people and I don't want to do that to my grandma or my mom." she shared, as Counselor Blatt sighed "Allison, I am not the best at this. I was never before and it's even harder now with everything happen when school's not even in session. But I do want to help you." she told her.

"But you can't!" Allison voiced, shaking her head as she felt tears in her eyes "nobody can help me! Which means my dad was right and maybe..maybe I should've just stayed there and gone to juvie and maybe my life would've actually changed." she shared, leaning her head down "no, it wouldn't have. You made actual friends here! You didn't have real ones back home, they were using you for personal gain, they got you in trouble! That's not what friends do and I know you know that. And I know things have been hard, but change is never easy. Nobody's just gonna come up to you with a magic wand and make it better, you just have to keep trying until it does get better." Counselor Blatt shared, and when she did, Allison lifted her head up and nodded, knowing she was right.
