"All I said was that I think you should invite her." Bentley says as we walk to our class Thursday morning.

"And all I said was that I didn't want her coming to the movies with us tomorrow, why do you want her to go anyways?" I knew why, it was because of her crush.

She plays with her bracelet, her tale for when she lies. "Well, I mean she's new, and doesn't really have friends yet and-" I cut her off.

"She has friends though, see." As if perfectly timed, I spot Emory leaned up against the old, no longer used, lockers. She laughs as a guy talks, he's telling a story and is making larg gestures as he does. Hes about half a foot taller then her and has dirty blond hair, shaved short on the sides and a bit longer ontop.

Bentley narrows her eyes at him, "wait, who is that?," I shrug, not really sure, but not caring at the same time. I see why she's upset though. It is very obvious that Emory likes him, she's looking at him the same way Bentley looks at her.  "Didn't you say she had a boyfriend?" Odd how she seems to think that only matters now that there's another person possibly veiing for her attention.

"I said I thought she did, and it's not any of our business. Back to my point, she clearly has no problem making friends, so we're not inviting her." Bentley looks back at me now, wanting to object but then decides to just let it go. I however was putting my foot down, it was bad enough I had to share a room with her, I was not spending my weekend with her. She was a bit of a mess, very chaotic. Her clothes littered the floor in her side of the room, her desk covered in papers and writing utensils. She never made her bed, and there were hair ties, like every where. This morning I found one in the silverware draw. Plus she promised our parents to try and get along, but she still got into some kind of argument almost every other day. Either it's a fight with Georgie, or she's arguing over a rule her aunt never gave her and she shouldn't be expected to follow now.

She looks back to Emory and the guy, still stuck, "maybe we should go say hi."  I shake my head, already annoyed, every time I tried to complain about Emory to her, she shut it down, talking about how nice she was and how much they had in common. I was so over it already, "We could introduce ourselves to her friends, I think-"

I just know if their friendship continued it would end badly, despite what my mother thinks, Emory is bad news. "She's not your friend, she's my biological sister, that's it, so just drop it." I snap finally, a few people, including Emory and her now three friends, look over. Embarrassed and a bit irritated I marched off towards my class, I'll have to apologize to Bentley later, but for now I'm still mad at her. I told her not to have a crush on my sister, but yet she can't seem to leave it alone.

Entering my English class, I kind of slam down in my seat. Bentley is supposed to be my best friend, and lately it seems all she cares about is is Emory. I know that she likes her, but how am I supposed to be able to vent to her about the issues that come with a new sister, when she thinks that Emory hung the Stars. Every time she comes over to my house from now on, I'll have to wonder if it's for me, or because she secretly wants to be near my sister. we can't even make plans to hangout without Bentley wanting to invite her. So I'm a bit more then frustrated.

"What that chair ever do to you?" I glare over at Marcus, he's my desk partner.

I met him last week on the first day of school and my first impression was that he was kind of shy, or at least he didn't seem to want to talk much. "Why do you even care?"
