The news spread like wildfire and every demon of Hell wanted to get their stay at the Hazbin Hotel run by the Princess of Hell herself. The news of the battle of how Charlie and her friends stood up agaisnt Heaven exploded throughout the rings and they all lined up regardless if they wanted redemption or to be part of the next all out war agaisnt Heaven.

Poppy heard the wave of exciting news and watched the battle that aired every corner of Hell. She watched with admiration and she too became part of the excited crowd to join the hotel.

Poppy wasn't new to Hell but she was atill quite shy to her fellow demons. With her pale blue skin, fiery red hair and vibrant yellow eyes, Poppy wasn't too bad appearance wise. She was self-conscious of her scars that held her limbs together along with a tightly wound ribbon around her neck to hide her most viscious of scars and yet, she still had open flesh on her legs that resembled slashes.

She made her way to the location of the Hazbin Hotel only to be greeted by a long line, stretching from the hotel entrance. Her eyes widened but the hotel sign sparkled and glistened within her pupils.
"Wow." She whispered hushly, trying to contain her enthusiasim.
She took her place in line, crossing her arms over her chest. Poppy was determined to be a part of Hell history even if it meant standing in line for that chance.

The news reached to every dark corner of Hell, even to those that thought to be to damgerous to awaken. From the shadows, awoke a demon's attention and set his eyes to the Hotel.
A plague doctor, Kenneth. Dressed in a long, jet black overcoat in a profound royal purple button up collared suit with a rubbon neatly tied just below his chin. Black striped dress pants tucked into a pair of knee high boots. But the most distinctive feature of Kenneth was his mask. A single piece of stitch leather that resembled of a black crow that came to a long point inches like a beak. What were to be eyes were only reflective pieces of glass, expeessionless. To top his menacing attire, a large top hat with a wide brim made sure to shadow his head.

He watched the same battle every demon in Hell was witnessing. A light shimmered across the lens of his glasses with each scene that changed across the screens. Keeping his hands in his pockets, Kenneth stepped away. His stride long and quiet. He didn't say a word nor did he let his actions speak for themselves. The hotel appealled a long lust that comatosed within him. Watching the heavenly blood spilled on the ground and heaps of bodies awakened his hunger. The line at the Hotel was precisely what Kenneth was anticipating. He smoothly turned his head to the left and to the right before walking casually up and adding himself to the same line.

It took a day and a half to get through all the way of the line of demons. But it wasn't to give good news to half of those who ended up at the end.
But even when they were turned down, Poppy still walked in to the hotel with her head high and her motivation growing. She stopped and marveled ar the hotels exquisite interior decor. The lobby was wide and open. To the right of her were the elevators that would take guests up to their rooms. To her right was a very well placed bar. If she were to keep walking straight, she would find herself in a beautiful foyer that could be used for dinners, meetings, or any occassion to be held.

"Oh thank you! Yes, welcome to the Hazbin Hotel!" Cheered a shrill voice.
Poppy turned to see the very person, she had to speak with; Charlie Morningstar. She made her way to the Princess when out of the corner of her eye she noticed a black figure following her towards Charlie as well. This made her nervous and almost wanted to abort her mission but she kept on.

"Princess of Hell, may I have a word?" Poppy asked calling out.
"Oh hello! I am really sorry to tell you that all rooms have been taken."
This brought a wave of grief on Poppy as her shoulders drooped. She stared at the floor in disbelief until there came a low, gruntled voice.
"Is there any way to make accomodations?"
Poppy looked up at the demon and fear grew on her at the sight of his mask.
"I am truly sorry but there is no way to make room where there is none. I would love to be able to take in every demon of Hell in the hotel but we are very limited with space." Charlie explained without trying to cause any anger.

Poppy held herself with both of her arms willing to take the consequence and leave the hotel but the demon beside her seemed persistant than he lead on.
"Surely there must be something we can do."
Poppy listened when she caught sight of another demon. One wearing red with black tipped ears and small antlers that sprouted from his hair. A large smile planted on his face and his eyes focused right at them. She wasn't sure if this demon was looking at her or watching Charlie interact with the demon in the mask.

"I am very sorry sir but I am not going to ask demons to leave a room they patiently waited for." Charlie repeated.
"Whoa, oh. What's that you say?"
Poppy watched as the red demon approached them.
"Pleasure to meet you both, Alastor is the name."
"Uh, Poppy."
"Kenneth."
"What seems to be the problem?" Alastor questioned to Charlie.
"We are all full. I don't have a free room to take them in."
"What? Nonsense. Just have demons bunk with each other. What best way for redemption than through comradery."
Poppy and Kenneth watched Alastor snap his fingers only to have nothing happen.
"There. A new room has opened up next door to mine. You two can room mate together." Alastor smiled and hummed to himself walking away from a speechless Charlie.

"Well, I shall get you your room key and get you settled in.
Poppy and Kenneth followed Charlie, did their paperwork and escorted to their room. It was furnaced with two twin beds, two dressers, two seperate closets and a single bathroom. Poppy rushed in and flung herself on the bed that was up agaisnt the wall on the left side of the room, closest to the window. She giggled and held her new pillow close to her.

Kenneth gave the room a look over and steadily walked over to his bed where a single writers desk sat inches close to the bedframe. He sat on the edge of the bed and looked to the wall.

Poppy looked over and couldn't read any emotion by her new room mate's mask.
"Um, well. Since we will be sharing this room, I suppose we should get to know each other." Poppy suggested.
"Your name is Poppy and you know me as Kenneth. I see no reason to further acquaint ourselves." Kenneth answered blankly continuing to stare at the wall.
Poppy nodded her head feeling fear triple in growth.

To interrupt that fear, there came a knock and Alastor poked his head in the room.
"I wanted to make sure you two knew that dinner will be served in an hour."
Poppy leapt from the bed and quietly left the room back to where she entered the lobby. Not hesitant in getting a diatance between Alastor and Kenneth.

Kenneth turned his attention to Alastor who smiled back at him. They shared a stare at one another with nothing to say.
"You are going to be quite fascinating." Alastor remarked before turning into a shadow and disappearing down the hall.
"As you will be too." Kenneth whispered, revealing a ghastly pink claw of a finger from his coat.
