Kenneth paid most of his days to his room, jotting down names on fine sheet of paper. His eyes glistened from the light that burned bright from the fireplace behind him. The tip of his quill neatly carving each word down on the surface of the paper. In the midst of the silence, Kenneth began to hum to himself. Not a melodic humming that one would find themselves enjoying during a moment of joy, but rather a low, demented tone of humming that was only muffled by his mask. It had been a few days since he took the life that once belonged to Mimzy and there wasn't any word of her disappearance. He liked this. Finishing up with what he was writing, Kenneth got up from his seat and folded the paper up and stored it in the top drawer of his desk. He turned to the bed that belonged to Poppy, seeing that she was absent it made the room much larger than it was.

He steadily walked down the hall and descended down the stairs. He headed over to the bar where Husker was wiping out a drinking glass. He sat down on the first bar stool that was available.
"What are we having?" Husker asked, eyeing Kenneth down.
"Whiskey on the rocks."
Husker prepared the steong alcoholic drink and slid it at his patron. Kenneth lifted his mask just enough to reveal a snarled, and mangled smile. Black and green smoke misted from his mask as he lifted it to down his drink.
Kenneth quickly laid his mask back over his mouth and swallowed.

"Do you want another?" Husker asked carefully, unable to comprehend what he had just witnessed.
"No, I must be on my way."
Kenneth got up from his chair and was about to head out when Alastor stopped him.
"Kenneth, Ken, Kenny, my boy. What are your plans for the day?" Alastor asked grinning.
"I have business."
"Oh quite, how about you come with me today? I would love for you to meet my colleagues."
Kenneth stared at the Radio Demon thinking it over.
"I would be obliged."
"Fantastic, they are going to love you.

Kenneth walked alongside Alastor towards a set of elevators.
"Where are you taking me?" Kenneth asked as they neared the glass doors.
"Oh no need to worry. We are almost there."
Kenneth entered the elevator with Alastor examining the small space.
"These colleagues."
"Are the Overlords of Hell."
Kenneth turned to Alastor quietly.
"I don't think I am allowed here."
"Oh nonsense. You will enjoy the company of Vestial and Carmilla." Alastor commented.
The elevator finally dinged to the floor they needed to be dropped off at. Kenneth continued to follow Alastor to a large conference room with an oval shaped table. They both sat on the left side towafds the front where they were joined with other demons.

One was a vibrant colored animal, another was a woman wearing a vintage dress and overtop hat with fishnet covering her face; it was obvious she had come Cannibal Town. Kenneth could spot the obvious traits of the demons that thrived in such a town. A tall slender man wearinf a black robe and a large tie in the form of a spider. The other demons Kenneth had not time to want to look over.
"I thank you all for coming to this summons." Spoke a woman walking towards the front of the table.

"Always a pleasure." Alastor spoke.
The woman stared down Kenneth as he stared back.
She was a white and black dekom with fairly large limbs and white hair.
"Alastor, I don't believe outsiders are permissible to these gatherings." The tall man spoke with a voice that faded in.
"Oh, him?" Alastor asked pointing to Kenneth, "This is my dear old friend, Kenneth. A guest from the Hazbin Hotel."
"Then lrt me introduce myself, I am Vestial. An acquaintance to Alastor."
"My name is Carmilla Charmine. Overlord of weaponry." The woman spoke.
"May I admire you for a moment. It has been ages since I saw a plague doctor in the midst of our company." Vestial smiled.
"You knew other plague doctors."
"Quite. But none last here." Vestial pointed out.
"Good to know." Kenneth replied.

Just as they were to begin, a loud door opened and a young girl with her hair parted into two ponytails walked in, laughing to herself.
"Good for you to join us, Velvette." Carmilla sighed annoyed.
Kenneth stared at the entitled demon as they sat down while on their phone.
"Oh please, dk go on Carmilla. Let's hear another rousing speech."
Kennwth stared at the demon evwn with Carmilla resuming the pitch.
"Alright. Even though the battle with the executioners was won and victorious in the end but we can't have our guard down when they want to strike." She explained.

Carmilla's voice droned from Kenneth as he watched Velvette pay attention to her phone, obviously taking pictures of herself and the other Overlords. Until her eyes caught him looking at her.
"What are you staring at, old man?" Velvette screamed, interrupting Carmilla.
"Velvet, this Alastor's friend, Kenneth."
"Oh thats grrat, another fossil to this shithole group. Isn't it agaisnt the rules to bring outsiders, anyway?" Velvette questioned.
"We are making an exception for Kenneth." Vestial answered.
"Well, shit. The otber Vee's will surely hear about this one, fucking cunts." Velvetter growled.
"And where are your colleagues?"
"Oh their doing some stupid thing at the studio."

Kenneth slowly turned his head to Carmilla, tired of the conversation from Velvette.
"I apologize if my presence brings trouble. I can take my leave." He stated.
"You will do no such thing. Perhaps you being here can help us fortify our souls and territory of Hell." Carmilla acknowledged.
Kenneth nodded his head in agreement.
"Fucking windbags." Velvette mumbled under her breath and went on to posting more seflies.

"The meeting went cor a good hour and released everyone to return to their activities. Alastor and Kenneth left the tower and kn their way back to the hotel.
"So, what did you think?"
Kenneth remained silent as he pondered on the question.
"Tell me about these so called Vee's." Kenneth answered.
"Im glad you asked. That little darling was Velvette an Overlord of social media along with Valentino and Vox." Alastor mentioned.
"And they are Overlords?"
"Mhmm."
Kenneth felt doubt tbat Velvette would be considered a legit Overlord from the impression he got from just meeting her.

The closer they got to the hotel the more Kenneth got anxious in what he had to deal with.
"I must excuse myself for some business. I thank you for this enlightening stroll." Kenneth told Alastor as he headed back to his room.
Alastor smiled and watched Kenneth climb the stairs, watching a bit too closely to the plague doctor's back.
