 Denki's phone began to ring as soon as he read the tabloid, Bakugo was calling him. He quickly left the room to answer it, panic coming through the phone. Chase immediately picked up his own phone, opening up social media, only to be faced with the headline everywhere. He read further, finding out there was a hate page already for Denki. The header was of the headline, so he knew this page was brand new. He clicked on it and saw it had over a thousand members already, and people had been blasting Denki for "cheating" on him.

"I'M GOING TO SKIN THAT EXPLOSIVE ASSHOLE ALIVE!!!" Chase shouted as he threw his phone against the wall, "I KNEW COMING TO JAPAN WAS A MISTAKE!!!"

"Chase! Chill out!" Pearson tried to calm him down, "we know this isn't true, so why are you getting upset?"

"Yeah, Denki's been 100% transparent this entire trip. I'm sure he and Dynamight are working on a solution right now," Ariel explained.

"Do you seriously have so little faith in Denki?" Thomas questioned with a vexed tone.

"WHAT?! NO! I'M NOT MAD AT DENKI! I'M MAD AT OUR FANS!" Vanessa walked over and grabbed Chase's now shattered phone, looking at the hate page with wide eyes, "THEY'RE ALREADY TURNING ON HIM!!! LIKE THEY BELIEVE HE WOULD CHEAT ON ME!!! WE KNOW DENKI IS NOT THAT TYPE OF PERSON!!!" he gently snatched his phone from Vanesse, "I THOUGHT OUR FANS WOULD KNOW TOO!!! BUT JUST READ SOME OF THESE!!!"

The group peered over:

'no wonder he always did all that charity work, to make it seem like he's a good guy'

'wow imagine going from a sweetheart like Cloud to an asshole like Dynamight, couldn't be me'

"Oh my God," Pearson whispered in horror. That's just about when Denki came back.

"Bakugo set up a press conference for thirty minutes, he's sending us a car now," Denki rubbed his head before looking at everyone, "what did I miss?" Chase showed him the page, never one to hide things from Denki. The poor blonde began to tear up, not understanding how his fans could think he would do something like this. Cheating wasn't a Denki thing, he hated cheaters. He literally wrote an entire song against cheating, did people not remember? Was this one photograph, this one tabloid, really enough to turn people against him?

When the car pulled up, the whole band got in with very little trouble. It could be the fact that the driver was someone extremely buff and terrifying to look at, yeah it was definitely that. The ride to the hall was short and once again, the driver provided a much needed shield for the band against paparazzi. When Denki saw Bakugo, the man looked slightly worn out. Todoroki and Midoriya were by his side, going over talking points with him. Chase couldn't hold in his anger, rushing over and socking Bakugo in the jaw.

"YOU ASSHOLE, YOU RUINED HIS FUCKING LIFE ONCE AND NOW YOU'RE DOING IT AGAIN!!!" It took both Denki and Pearson to hold him back white Midoriya helped Bakugo off the floor.

"What do you mean? I thought you two finally reconciled," Todoroki questioned. Vanessa showed him the hate page on her phone, making the scarred man growl. He also showed Midoriya and Bakugo, who both groaned at the sight.

"Great! Another talking point! Just what I fucking need!"

"It might be a yelling point coming from you, Kacchan," Denki tried to joke with a broken laugh. Bakugo frowned at that, he didn't want to ruin Denki's life. As he gazed at Denki's arm, he knew what he had to do. A member of the stage crew alerted them of a five minute warning and to wrap up their practice before getting into place. Midoriya adjusted Bakugo's tie while Chase fixed Denki's hair. The two sat at their chairs and waited for the curtains to open, their postures steady and strong. When the curtains did open and the lights began flashing, Bakugo disregarded proper protocol and raised his hands. The power he held without even having to use his quirk was astounding, as the entire crowd hushed at the action.
