Chapter 11

Anaya POV~

It's been a month since I've gotten married to Alam. Today is a big day though. Ari finally got the house he wanted for us and we are going to put everything together. Decorate and possibly have a little gathering. I'm quite nervous as Alam and Hudaifah are both invited. I can't see Hudaifah just yet without the feeling of knots in my stomach and a pain in my chest. I can't continue avoiding him any longer as he is a part of our family.

"Anaya can you get dressed already? We're going to be late!" Alam yelled from in front of the bathroom door.

"I'm almost done just got to dry my hair!" I yelled back. After 15 minutes I was done. I wore black sweats and a baggy long sleeved shit as we'd be painting and whatnot. After a while we arrived at Ari and Ayaan's new place.

"Assalamu Alaikum brother! I missed you!" I said trying to hug him really hard.

"Alaikum Salaam and don't try you're still weak little one. Also I missed you too" He said giving me a hard hug.

"I give up! I give up!" I scream

"Good choice little one." He says

"Stop saying little one I'm younger than you by a minute." I said glaring at him.

"Aaaaaaah Ani you're here!" Ayaan screamed.

"Aaaaaaah you're here too!" I screamed making her laugh. We hugged forever. I then went to see Ammi and Abi after I spoke to them for awhile I went and found my other siblings and the rest.

"You won't believe who wants to get married!" Ayaan said while we were having lunch.

"Hudaifah" Ari and Jijah said together. I choked on my food when I heard that.

"Are you okay?" Ayaan asked.

"Yeah you just caught me off guard you know?" I said. After a few moments the doorbell rang and seconds later Ari returns with Hudaifah.

"I'll be back excuse me" I said going to the bathroom. I was having a panic attack. I got myself together and went back to the dinning room.

"Assalamu Alaikum Hudaifah." I said with my gaze lowered.

"Alaikum Salaam Ani" He said

"So did you give pick a date yet?" I asked Ari and Jijah.

"After school is over." They said unison.  We continued to talk for a while. I went to get the plastic plates and utensils to the kitchen. I heard footsteps approaching. I turned around to see Hudaifah.

"Hey what's up?" I asked.

"We need to talk Ani." He said with a blank expression.

"I-" I began to speak but Alam interupted.

"Anaya-" he stopped when he noticed Hudaifah and I.

"What did you want to ask me?" I asked him.

"Nothing I'll talk to you later." He said walking out. For the first time I seen him with a hurt expression.

"I'm sorry I have to check on him but let's talk tomorrow at the park In Sha Allah thanks" I took my leave and went after Alam. "What's the matter?" I asked him

"Nothing I just got to know a little about you two's relationship and history. " he said bluntly.

"And?" I asked.

"Do you still have feelings for him?" He asked.

"I-I-
