Ari's POV

"Khadijah you have to tell our parents In Sha Allah. We can hide this forever especially when you're almost 2 months and we won't be married for another month." I said.

"I'm just not comfortable in telling everyone yet not before the police can do anything. I'd rather be prepared for the outcome." She said as she got up to leave.

"Fine but the minute we get married you're going to tell them." I said with a smile.

"I will! just be sure you're ready tomorrow if not we will not be married." She says with a smirk.

"Wait you don't want to marry me?" I asked with hurt expression.

"No I do I want to marry you Ari." She said worried.

"Oh you want to marry me huh?" I asked smiling from one cheek to the other.

"Uff I can't stand you!" She said as she got her shoes on.

"Be careful Jijah see you tomorrow In Sha Allah." I said as she left and I went to Ayaan's room to check on her since she's been really sick and distant lately. Ever since we moved out of our fake parents, she's been acting weird. I seen Ayaan staring me trying to figure out what I was doing.

"Are you okay Ari?" She asked coughing.

"I should be asking you that shouldn't I?" I asked her now worried because she's had a fever for a full week and has not been eating. I have been calling Aniya but she's been busy for a while now and it's hard to get in contact with her which is really difficult.

"Ari-cough-I'm okay I just want to be left alone for a bit." She said with a defeated voice.

"No I won't leave you alone Yaan you've been cooped up inside your room for the past month. Now I want you to get ready and please don't try to refuse because I won't let you." I said feeling defeated

"Ari please leave me alone! I don't want to go anywhere, see anyone or do anything. I just want to stay in my room." She said crying at this point. Now I know for a fact something is wrong with her.

"Okay you can stay in your room." I said and walked away. After a few seconds I heard her door close and began feeling guilty so I went back to apologize only to hear muffled sobs. I don't know what to do and the sister we both need won't answer our calls.

"Ayaan I'll be back please eat something while I'm gone" I pleaded.

"I don't want to but I'll try." She said and with that I left. I drove over to Aniyah's new place after 30 minutes I arrived at her place. I began knocking and nobody answered which began to irritate me. I called her and continued to knock but no answer. I went back to my car and was on my way home when Ammi called me.

"Hey Ammi" I answered.

"Hello my son where are you?" She asked with a chirpy voice.

"I'm on my way home what's wrong?" I asked her.

"I'm at the hospital with Aniyah and I think you guys should come." She said.

"What's wrong with her?" I asked frightened to know what the answer was.

"Nothing just hurry up!" She said then hung up. After a bit I went back home and went straight to Ayaan's room. I began knocking frantically as I didn't have time to waste. After what seemed like 5 minutes she didn't answer so I went in. As I went in I didn't find her anywhere so I began checking around the house only to see a empty house.

I began looking for her outside and all her favorite places and anywhere she usually went but she wasn't anywhere to be found. I decided to go to the hospital.

"Have any of you seen Ayaan?" I asked everyone in the room.

"No why?" Aniyah asked.

"You would've known if you answered your damn phone!" I yelled feeling angry because I went to her house and left Ayaan alone.

"Aryaan calm down now!" I heard Abbi say. I tried to calm down a little but it wasn't working.

"Tell me why was I told to come here?" I asked.

"I'm pregnant" Aniyah said.

"Congratulations anyway I have to go and look for Ayaan." I said getting up to walk away when someone grabbed my arm. I looked back only to see it was Aniyah.

"What is it? I don't have time." I said coldly.

"Where's Ayaan?" She asked

"If I knew would I go look for her?" I asked agitated.

"Quit getting smart Ari I want to know what is happening." She said.

"If you have been answering you phone then you would know but right now I can't." I said and walked away. I began searching for her again but still couldn't find her. I kept calling her but it just went to voicemail and I even texted her with no response.

I started getting extremely worried and couldn't contain my anger anymore. I punched the wall and continued to do so until I no longer felt any anger. My phone began to ring, I ran to it and answered without looking at the caller ID

"Hello?! Ayaan is it you?!" I asked.

"No it's --"
