chapter twenty eight

Shadow's pov

I've taken Lucy away from the ball, I carry her in my arm's upto my room.

Once in my room, I lie her on my bed. Fear is running through me. Am I about to lose the girl I have fallen in love with.

She isn't gone yet but she is fading away. " Lucy can you hear me it's Shadow ".

She open's her eye's hell I hope the fate's are on my side. " Am I dying Shadow ". I nod and then I see tear's in her eye's.

" Lucy I can save you but, to do this I will have to change you ". She close's her eye's again.

 " Lucy stay awake, I need you to stay awake ". She open's them again. " Lucy please give me an  answer ".

I know that time is running out, she wont be alive for much longer if I don't give her my blood soon.

 " Please Lucy give me an answer, time is running out. I need you please say yes ". She open's her mouth but no word's come out.

 I can see she is fading away fast, even though she has said the word's I'm going to take it as a yes anyway.

I give her my blood. I just hope she was trying to say yes. I bite into my wrist and press it to her lip's.

 " Lucy please drink, please ". I feel the pull on my wrist as she suck's my blood, in someway's this is painful as I have never done this before but, in other way's it's nice.

After about 10 minute's I pull away and I heal, I watch as Lucy double's up in pain.

 I feel bad and sick for doing this to her but, I need her to live.

I hear a noise coming this way, from the sound's of the foot step's I would say it's Armand and Storm.

Storm's pov

Armand has stopped me from killing Darren, I wanted to after what he did to Lou.

We are now on our way upstair's to see if Shadow is able to save Lou, I hate Darren even more now for what he has done.

 He is acting like a kid. He want's to have his cake and eat it though he seem's to think he can but,he can't.

We reach the west wing where we are all staying and Armand knock's on the door.

 Shadow open's the door, he seem's to know we were coming." Armand, Storm ". I nod.

 " How is Lou ". He step's aside so I can see her motionless body lying on the bed.

I turn to Armand and cry into his chest, I then hear fang's say. " Did you do it ". I don't hear any thing.

Then out of the blue I hear fang's say. " Well she should be waking up soon, we will go change and come back ".

Fang's help's me out the doorway and we walk to our room. Once we are in our room.

 I turn to him and say. " Fang's what has Shadow done to Lou ". He look's out the window.

 " You know how you feed me and I give you my blood once a week to help balance out what I take ". I nod.

" Well Shadow has given Lou alot more. She will become one of us, that is why I couldn't help her Storm, if I had given her my blood she would be bonded to me forever ".

 I can now see why he didn't do it. I kiss him. " But she will be okay wont she ". He nod's.

I change out of my dress and into jean's and a t-shirt, fang's doesn't change, we exit the room and head down the hall.
