23. long lost brothers

Taehyung's POV

Things were back to normal at hospital. We can't stop our work just because of an incident so everyone's busy again. Though I notice Dr. Namjoon's stare on me longer than needed. He always looks so confused and lost that I think he should consider staying at home and consulting a therapist if it helps. I don't want to be rude by pointing it out since it doesn't do any harm to me, that's why I just let him be. I am done with my schedules and appointments for the day so I am going to call Jungkook. It's half past six now, he should be done with his work too.

The call rings once, twice, thrice and then he picks up. "Hey."

"Hello to you too, done with work?" Seems like he isn't done yet.

"Yeah. I am guessing you are still working?"

"Yeah. Just a lil though, so I will be there at 7, wait for me, don't wander off alone." 

"Sure 'appa'!"

"Daddy would be better, sugar. Anyways, grab something if you want, I will be there in half an hour." 

"Ok, do your work and ....I don't have a daddy kink!" And I hung up the call before he could answer. This man is becoming more and more shameless by every passing day! Though I can't lie, it's hot. Him being confident about his looks and preference makes him a lot more charming and desirable. And hard to resist. 

"Dr. Kim....you alright? Your smiling is creeping me out now." I must be looking creepy for the creepiest person to be creeped out by me. Kang Taehyun, he is an intern but if we ignore uniform and age, many mistake him to be a senior doctor because of his mature personality and vast knowledge. Though sometimes he says things that weird me out. 

Despite his weird self, he is an amazing person and junior. "Aren't you going home?" He should be at home by now. No ones here except those who live in the neighbors and those who have different shifts from us. And knowing he lives far from here, he leaves early for home so seeing him still here is a surprise. "I will. Is your husband late today, Dr.?" He questioned me back while taking a seat beside me. "Hmm, he will be here in half an hour or so. Now, why are you here? None of your colleagues here now, nor your friends...they all went home so why not you?"

"Because you are still here and no one else is." This took me by surprise because, he is here to look out for me as no intern or omegas work night shift. "Where do you live, Taehyun-ah?" I asked because I don't know where he lives exactly, except he lives somewhere far. "Block-3, 5th sector. I live with my family." I nodded at his answer before passing him the coffee I had with me while I took one too. 

He looked at the coffee before looking back at me, is he not a coffee person? "What's wrong? You don't like coffee?" He looked back at his coffee then at me before speaking. "I...I don't like black coffee. I would prefer tea or milk coffee, caramel macchiato." That was surprising since I thought his all time wide open eyes were the result of strong caffeine but still I nodded and handed him mine. "It's caramel macchiato." 

Both of us were watching the busy road, sitting on the bench in the hospitals front yard silently when a car rolled in. My husband's car to be exact. "Well, here comes your alpha in a black car to sweep you off your feet." I chuckled at Taehyun's remark as we both stood up watching Jungkook getting off the car and marching up to where we are. "Is he coming to hit me? Like, you know I am an alpha so..." He trailed off but hissed as I flicked his forehead. "You need to stop being around asshole alphas."  I remember him telling me how he got punched once when he was just standing with his friend who was an omega and his alpha saw them. 

"Sugar." Bad alpha, bad alpha! I could feel the grin on Taehyun's face from here. This boy would never let me live now. "Jungkook, this is Taehyun. An intern working under me. Taehyun....you know who he is." I gave both of them, mainly Jungkook an introduction about each other in response to which they nodded at each other. "Umm, can Taehyun come with us? He actually lives in the same block as us and it's pretty late now." Jungkook was mild surprised, I could see that on his face but still he nodded, affirming my suggestion. "Yeah, sure. It would be hard to take a cab now."
