33. Omega

Taehyung's POV

When I asked, 'who said I can't?' I didn't mean to challenge God. But maybe God took it to heart because before I could even say anything else, a hush murmuring of two people reached our ears halting our actions.

"My brother is really a fool sometimes."

If I wasn't mistaken, it was the oldest brother of my husband and one look at his face, I knew I was right. He pressed his finger to my lips, shushing me as he buried his face in my neck, nuzzling there."Jungkookie should understand that the position of CEO isn't for him, after everything appa has done...he is really selfish for wanting that too." 

It was Hina who said this, that woman is a wicked wench. Someday I will slap her so hard she would spit out broken teeth. 

"Don't worry, honey. Appa promised me and Jun, I will be the CEO while Jun will be the COO."

After that, we couldn't hear much as they went back in, and we didn't wish to hear anything else too. It was quiet around us, Jungkook was staring into void while his hands were still wrapped around me, but his mind was somewhere else. "Hey." I tugged his shirt, getting his attention back at me. He looked down, nudging my face with his chin as he hummed in response. "Why don't you....look for job somewhere else? There are so many companies...better and won't discriminate. Or, be the househusband, your omega earns enough for both of us, you know." 

I didn't mean any ill, I just want him to have a healthy work environment that he is not getting it here obviously. He didn't look offended as he kissed my cheek before speaking. "Sugar...did you think I haven't given it a thought? I mean, not bragging but with my skills, I can score any job but...I don't want to work like that anymore." His words confused me, and I tilted my head looking up at him. He must have realised I didn't understand a word because he chuckled before pulling me close to his chest, putting his chin on top of my head. "What I want is, my own business. My own startup. I have everything prepared but, there's still something I am worried about."

At his last line, I wriggle out of his hold and pull him down by his chain, "What is it? Tell me, I will help you." I really want him to be free and happy. "Sugar, you are too tiny to act all mighty, it's cute." Pinching my cheeks he chuckled before releasing a sigh and looked up in the dark void. "For a startup, you need finance. And I really don't want to go to my family for that. I can handle it alone but, I think it wi-"

"Are you an idiot?" I spoke up, abruptly cutting his words in the mid because I really think he is stupid. Though he looked very much offended by my words, but I genuinely don't give a fuck. "Your husband is a neurosurgeon. And I hardly spend a penny since half of the time I am at work and at home all I wish is to eat and sleep. Clothes are the only thing I spend on if we exclude the bills that I started paying after marrying you. Even the house was bought by my brother. So, if you are looking for finance...you should take a look at your husband."

When I was done talking, I noticed he was staring at me with open mouth like I grew three extra heads. "What?" I shoved him back to get off of the car only to be pushed back again when he came to his senses. "You will....provide me financial help?" Is he dumb? "Did I speak Latin before??" 

"No like...but it's your mon-" Not letting him complete his words I pinched his nipples earning a painful groan from him. "My money? Then get the fuck out of the house since it's mine! And take this back since it's yours, and this too!" I grumbled while taking off the watch and chain he gifted me, but he stopped me before I could by pinning my both hands each side of me on the car. "I gave them to you...it's yours. Everything I own is your omega because you are mine!" As much as I have basked in his possessiveness at the moment, I have important lesson to teach.
