(Two in a row ? I'm on a roll I am feeding y'all tonight lol.)

Lucifer watched from across the cafeteria as Adam stood up abruptly, his expression darkening as a random guy bumped into him, causing coffee to spill over his clothes. Anger flashed in Adam's eyes, his fists clenching at his sides as he took a step forward, ready to confront the offender.

Sensing the impending altercation, Lucifer felt a surge of unease. He knew Adam's temper could sometimes get the better of him, and the last thing he wanted was  to get into a fight.

With a quick flick of his wrist, Lucifer tapped into his demonic powers, exerting just enough influence to halt Adam in his tracks. A subtle aura enveloped Adam, causing him to pause mid-step, confusion flickering across his face.

"Whoa, Adam, calm down," Lucifer said, his voice low but firm as he stepped forward, placing a hand on Adam's shoulder. "It's not worth it."

Adam blinked, shaking his head as if coming out of a daze. The tension in his shoulders eased slightly, though a hint of frustration still lingered in his gaze. "Yeah, you're right," he muttered, running a hand through his hair. "Thanks, Lucifer."

Lucifer nodded in response, offering a small smile before turning his attention to the guy who had bumped into Adam. "Hey, watch where you're going next time," he said, his tone carrying a warning edge.

The guy muttered an apology before hastily retreating, leaving Adam to assess the damage to his clothes. "Fuck!" Adam muttered, grimacing as he looked down at the coffee stains on his shirt. "I'm gonna need to change."

Lucifer sighed inwardly, feeling a pang of guilt for not being able to prevent the incident entirely. But as Adam moved to leave the cafeteria, Lucifer couldn't help but feel a sense of relief that he had intervened before things escalated further.

Lucifer quickly stood up, abandoning his untouched tray of food, and followed Adam as he made his way to change. The chaotic rhythm of the high school hallways matched the turbulence in Lucifer's mind.

"Hey, Adam," Lucifer called out, catching up to his friend. "You okay?"

Adam glanced at him, a mix of frustration and gratitude in his eyes. "Yeah, just annoyed. I liked this shirt."

Lucifer nodded in understanding, his empathy for Adam's situation evident. "Well, maybe it's time for a wardrobe change anyway. Who knows, you might find something even better."

Adam Blushed , the tension in his shoulders easing a bit. "Yeah, maybe you're right. Thanks for stepping in back there. I don't know what got into me."

Lucifer smirked, brushing it off casually. "No problem, man. Sometimes we all need a reminder to keep our cool."

As they walked together towards the locker rooms, Lucifer couldn't help but feel a connection with Adam, a bond that went beyond the complexities of high school relationships.

"By the way," Lucifer added with a playful grin, "next time someone spills coffee on you, maybe I can conjure up a protective force field or something. Just a thought."

Adam laughed, the sound genuine and lightening the mood. "Yeah, that would be Fucking something. But seriously, thanks, Lucifer."

Lucifer nodded, a sense of camaraderie between them. As they entered the locker room, the challenges of the intricate web of emotions surrounding them seemed momentarily overshadowed by the bond of friendship that held them together.
