the talk with Tony was just a few hours ago . in the hush of your room . as the sun dipped below the horizon.
you sat on your bed . the unease from then still lingering.
meanwhile. Loki was somewhere. probably doing something, probably not . you had no clue
whatever was upon you . it wasn't good . it was definitely an upcoming disaster.
a knock pulled you right out of your thoughts followed by Loki's entrance
" my darling? you've been sitting here all day " he said. genuine concern etched in his words

" it's nothing.." you murmured . your eyes escaping his

" (y/n). I know it is something.." he insisted, his hand touched your chin and gently tilted your head to look at him
" now.. what's on your mind ? " he inquired. his gaze searching your eyes for answers.
" i.. I can't explain it" you said closing your eyes.
" talk to me , love" he said soothingly
you sighed. hesitant wether to confess or not
" I feel like something bad is about to happen.. to us " you said . your eyes locking with his

" who ? " he growled
" I'm not sure .. but please.. if anything happens-.. " you began
" nothing will .. tell the truth " he interrupted

" I won't hear anything but the truth " he said firmly

" for norns sake spit it out ! " Loki shouted at you . his hands firmly gripping your arms
" Steve! " you admitted
his eyes locked with yours , letting out a breath his hands loosened around your arms , he pulled you in a tender kiss , his hand gentle in your hair.
" I love you too (y/n).." he whispered against your lips
foreheads resting against each other .you kept your eyes closed , fighting the tears .
".. I will find out whatever he's up to .. I promise" he whispered
you nodded against his forehead . he inhaled deeply and placed a gentle kiss on your forehead before he stood up and headed to the door
" where are you going?" you questioned standing up . worry clutching at your heart
" to fulfill my promise " he said. his hand on the doorknob
" don't do anything stupid " you warned
" define stupid " he said . a playful smirk on his lips , the mischief you loved in his eyes.
he closed the door behind him , leaving you alone again in your quiet room .
not wanting to submit to your thoughts any longer , you left your room and walked to the kitchen on the floor below yours.
Wanda was there , her back facing you as she was preparing something.
