Chapter 36

~ Loki's pov ~

the room looked normal. however I knew so well that stark did his job correctly. he didn't want to make her feel bad .

she was sitting on the side of the bed with her legs on the ground , her eyes looking at her fidgeting hands

I frowned and walked to her slowly. the closer I got to her the clearer I could hear her soft sniffles.

I knelt infront of her to get a better view of her . just as I thought. she was crying. she looked away from me and wiped her tears aggressively and hid her face in her palms

I gently held her forearms

" darling.. look at me " I said

she kept her face in her palms . her body slightly trembling from the crying

" please darling talk to me " I said rubbing her forearm with my thumb gently

" I never thought...I would be this weak before" she said between the sobs

shit . of course she heard us . it must be too hard for her to be in such state with nothing left to do .

I felt like it was all my fault. if she didn't have to come with us . if she didn't have to save me . maybe then she would have been ok .

" my darling you are not weak.. you are just unwell and it's ok.. you are going to get through this. I know it .." I said rubbing her shoulder gently

I started thinking about how to cheer her up a bit

" I tell you what . how about we have this thing on Midgard they call a movie night, yeah?.. you and me " I said cheerfully

she finally removed her hands and looked at me . her eyes red and puffy and the tip of her nose colored with a soft pink

" I'll get us some snacks while you pick the movie " I said touching her hip

she smiled softly at me and nodded slowly

" ok .." she said with a small crack

" ok.. I'll go now .." I said standing up

I leaned forward and placed a quick kiss on her forehead holding her face with both my hands.

I looked her in the eyes for a second before leaving the room to find some snacks

when I touched her I noticed her high temperature . that's not good . my worry about her increased every second

I kept walking down some corridors and down a few stairs till I finally found the kitchen

to my absolute surprise Thor was there getting something from the top shelves

" what in the name of Valhalla are you doing?" I said

he turned around with some weird biscuits stuffed in his mouth. he smiled and swallowed them

" oh brother!! how are you??!! " he said

" good goo-.. that's not the time for that I need to get some snacks " I said shaking my head to concentrate

I walked to the shelves and tried searching for anything

" why ? " he said looking at me

" I and (y/n) are having a movie night " I said still searching

" oouuuh is it a date ? " he said nudging me with his elbow

" shut up and help me " I said as I bent down to the lower cupboards

" uh um ok .. she loves pop tarts and popcorn... chips would do good.. and I guess chocolate too " he said

" do we have all of this here ?" I said standing straight and looking at Thor
