I Saw The Light ( Loki x vampire reader)

Chapter 22

~ Loki's pov ~

when I was in somebody's head . I was like an unseen character in the story in the middle of the action. as if I was watching some sort of a play .

it was somewhere near the far woods of Asgard . a place which was unfamiliar for Asgardians to visit. it was full of tents and people walking around however it was calm.

it had a breathtaking view to the castle. the wide sea of Asgard was seen between the tall trees of that place and at the eye level the castle could be seen , foggy from the distance.

for a second I saw her. playing with some young girls . she ran past me giggling. suddenly I heard gallops. horse gallops.

I turned around and saw Odin and his army emerging from the bushes. Odin rose his sword and pointed it to the people.

screams were heard and everyone started to run away . but they didn't speed away . instead they tried to pull each other to safety.

the guards started to kill everyone including her mother and sister. I tried searching for her .

I found her on the edges of the woods with her father. I frowned as I slowly walked towards them

" run and don't look back!!!" the father said

all the sounds were just like Echoes inside a cave .

" father no !!!" she shouted

" RUN!" he shouted

her young figure flinched from the shouting. startled she sped away while I was still next to her father.

when I looked at him . his eyes were full of tears still looking at his running daughter

" I love you..." he said in a low voice

before anything else could happen.his head was sent flying away from his body. and with that the memory ended.

however it wasn't the end. I saw another memory. this time inside the castle. specifically my chamber.

I was standing infront of her . my heart dropped as I watched myself slap her and leave the room as if nothing had happened.

she kept standing straight without moving a muscle until I left. I got closer to her and only then had I noticed her teary eyes.

she sat on the bed and sobbed silently. each sob filled with hurt . each sob stabbed me in the heart.

how could I do that?

another one was again in my chamber. I didn't know back then that she was a vampire and needed blood however she didn't feed to keep her identity safe .

she was too pale. as she was walking around the room she suddenly lost her balance and fell . I rushed to help her up but remembered that I was in her head.

she tried her best to get up and eventually succeeded and continued to work.

another one when we were on the joutnheim. I watched her rip her wound apart so no one would know she could heal .

she was screaming in pain.

nobody felt her pain . nobody saw it . and nobody heard it . and what did I do . bring her more pain .

and with that I was kicked out of her head. she was breathing heavily as if she was having a panic attack.

I didn't know what to do or how to react. what I did was unforgivable. I was shocked by what I had seen.

I tried to approach her . she immediately stopped breathing and attacked me .her eyes were pitch black and her mouth was opened due to her quickened breathing which made me see how Sharp her fangs were.
