Once again in the quiet realm of dreams and memories, Ei found herself on the rooftop of Tenshukaku, bathed in Inzauma's moonlight. Beside her, her younger sister.
The two shared a serene moment.Ei smiles.
"The view from here is breathtaking, don't you think, (Nickname), What do you love most about Inazuma?" (Name) was gazing at the city lights, pondering for a moment. Her mind recalled the countless of times Makoto would tell them all about Inazuma's tradition; from scenery to culinary things."Oh, definitely the festivals! The vibrant colors, the dances, and the laughter of our people whooshing through the streets!"
The older sister nods with a chuckle.
"Festivals are a celebration of our culture. It's a reflection of the unity that defines our Inazuma."Before Ei could fully finish her sentence, (Name) spoke up once again. "And the food! The street vendors with their alluring treats – a feast for the senses, for sure!"
Ei chuckles once more, "You always had a sense for finding the best snacks. It's those simple pleasures that make our nation special, isn't it?"
The youngest was lost in thought once more."What about you, Ei? What's your favorite part?"
She gazed at the city beneath them, smiling softly. "The resilience of our people. Through storms and challenges, Inazuma stands strong. It's the heart of the nation that pulls me in."
The younger Raiden leans her shoulder against Ei's, joining her sister in gazing at their glowing nation.
"You're right, sis. Inazuma is more than just land and buildings. It's the spirit that binds us all."
As the dream lingered, Ei and (Name) continued chatting, sharing their favorite moments and appreciating the essence of their beloved Inazuma. The rooftop became a sanctuary where the laughter and sisterly bonds painted the night with a touch of eternal warmth. While speaking of eternity, (Name) sitting beside Ei on the rooftop, expressed her concerns to her sister with a hint of unease.
"Ei, these wars between the nations worry me. The tension, the uncertainty.. it feels like Inazuma might lose the peace we cherish.."
Ei placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Change is inevitable, (Name). In times of turbulence, we must find strength in our unity, must we not?"
(Name) looks at her elder sister with a troubled look. "But what if this change takes away the things we love about Inazuma? The festivals, the laughter of our people.. what if it all fades away?"
Ei's gaze softened and her tone became less vocal."Change doesn't mean losing who we are. It's an opportunity to adapt, to ensure the strength Inazuma endures. Our traditions and spirits will withstand the thunderous storms.
Your concerns are valid, N/N. We'll work together to guide Inazuma through these challenges. Our unity is a beacon that can weather any storm, and the spirit of our people will prevail."(Name), finding solace and comfort in her older sister's words, looked out over Inazuma with a renewed sense of hope, wrealizing that facing change didn't mean losing the things of what made their nation special.
. . . . . . . .
The eyes of the now only ruler of Inazuma opened once more as she looked at the dimly lit plane of euthymiya she was in.
She remembered her younger sister's words;
'What if this change takes away the things we love about Inazuma'
'Inzauma might lose the peace we cherish'
'What if it all fades away'
Oh, how right she was.
It did all fade away."When you left, so did Inazumas spark."
Ei quietly mutters to no one but herself, allowing herself to shed a tear as she clutches a small fan and wisteria accessory, the only thing that was left of her loved ones, tightly in her hand.
