"Actually, we're staying in Liyue for another month or so, then we head back to Inazuma!"

"Why do you ask?"

-

That's where she was now, helping the 'mighty Traveler' by spending a whole month in Liyue with her and her flying pet. They've been through a alot in less than a month; Commissions, helping around half of Liyue's population with easy resolved issues, building up things, you name it. She always wonders how Lumine is able to keep up with all the tasks she's done.

Adventures or not, (Name) dissociated often. Was this real or all just a very, very realistic dream? It felt real, sure, but  was she really free?
Free of t̲̂̓ͩ̑ḣ̖̻͛̓Ḛͭ̉̇͟ c͕͗ͤ̕̕ư̡͕̭̇R͉̜̎͡͠s̠҉͍͊ͅḚͭ̉̇͟ t̲̂̓ͩ̑ḣ̖̻͛̓ā̤̓̍͘t̲̂̓ͩ̑'s̠҉͍͊ͅ b̬͖̏́͢ẹ̿͋̒̕Ḛͭ̉̇͟N̺̻̔̆ͅ ḣ̖̻͛̓ā̤̓̍͘ư̡͕̭̇N̺̻̔̆ͅT̨͈͗̌ͥỉ͔͖̜͌ṇ̤͛̒̍G̩̱ͩ̏͜ ḣ̖̻͛̓Ḛͭ̉̇͟R͉̜̎͡͠¿?

Nonetheless, spending time in Liyue was definitely refreshing. It's been a few hundert, perhaps even thousand of years since she last visited the nation of Geo, she grew rather fond of it some centuries ago. The first thing she noticed that in the present time, the citizens of Liyue weren't as nice as they once were.

She'd refer to them as rather.. stingy and rude, believing everything they hear and see. Sure, not all of them were bad or unfriendly, but definitely enough to say what she was thinking.
She's also come face to face with some of the Adepti again. Weirdly enough she had little to no memory of the Adeptal beasts who seem to perchance have recognized her.

Liyue was nice, but she couldn't wait to get back to Inazuma. Her hometown, her nation.

The Shogun's gaze landed on the Sakura tree, her dull and sharp looking eyes taking in the pink, flowery sight in front of her. Ei, on the other hand looks at the tree as if it were the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. She vividly remembers sitting there with her friends and sisters, really not having a care in the word. Ei also remembers asking, no, begging Makoto and Chiyo to rematch in karuta to get her practice up.
Eventho she herself doesn't sit under the tree anymore, she wonders why no one else did.

Ei's hand wanders to the accessory adorning the side of her head, gently caressing it.

.

"Makoto, Ei,"

the youngest Raiden calls out. "Could you two come here for a moment, please?" She placed 2 small boxes in front of her older sisters, enticing them to open them at the same time.
Inside of each box was a headpiece.
Makoto's was a very fragile and thin, hand-carved flower and a small fan, adorned by a small piece of her favorite plant; Wisteria.

Ei's accessory also had a small fan, paired with two Japanese irises, and a small, hand-made butterfly charm.
(Name) tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, revealing to a hairpiece similar to theirs. It was a mix of their own. The small fan, a strand of wisteria and one lavender iris.
(Name) said it's a symbol, a symbol of eternity, a promise that they'd never lose each other,
something that unites them and brings them together in case they got lost.

Maybe that's why today, Ei still wears it. Maybe that's the reason she keeps those two accessories so close to her,
to be reunited with them.

.

"You're gnawing again,"

"The skies are darker."

A familiar voice snapped her out of her trance, purple eyes glancing beside her. "Miko.."
It was no surprise to Ei that the Fox envoy snuck up behind her every now and then, she's done that for centuries.

Despite Miko's playful nature and tendency to no bounds, she emphasized with her dear friend. The loss Raiden Makoto was no easy burden to carry for her, either. Neither was it for their nation. Tales and stories of the twin archons were retold under every thunder sakura, keeping her spirit alive. That's what Ei believed. To believe in those you've lost.

'As long as you believe in someone, their existence will never fade.' Makoto said that once. Ei was never able to understand her sister's lack of awareness or mindset, tho she wasn't sure if it would benefit her having found out, either. Ei wasn't rude, of course, It was just the fact that both of her sisters were so kind and gentle. Makoto's reassuring words and touch, (Name)'s creative ideas and solutions.

She missed them. How was she even leading Inazuma without her gentle left and right hand?

Miko knew exactly what she was thinking about, and she couldn't help but let her own mind start to wander as she layed her eyes upon the very familiar tree. A weird feeling rushed through her as a shiver ran down her spine. She narrows her eyes, sparing a glance at a pondering Ei as it averted back to the scenery in front of them.
