Chapter 4 part 2: a confrontation

in the doodle sphere.

after talking with the other Sanses there, Sans sat down, wondering what to do next. Frisk was now out on a quest with an inky version of himself, gathering these 'gems of sins' he heard from Geno, a Sans with a white jacket, a red scarf, a bloody red scar on his shirt and one eye that's glitching a bit. he heard a story from the gems of sins: after realizing his father, W.D Gaster had arrived as well, and Gaster had done some research on them a little while back. what he found out was that when all the gems of sins are formed, they create a new, all powerful soul. not only that, he found out that those aware of the RESETS or timelines are freely able to get out of being in the frozen timelines, and that with a few exceptions, no one else can in this state. 

''i hope the kid is okay....'' was all he could say. normally he was too lazy to care much about anything except his brother Papyrus, but he had grown attached to Frisk, to the point of being a secondary father figure to him. he then heard a squeak. he looked into his pocket, and pulled out the teddy bear Frisk gave him as a present. Sans smiled, realizing that this was the one promise he knew was worth even having. that promise he made to Toriel all those years ago. 

meanwhile.

Frisk has just returned to his timeline. he was shocked to see everyone there had froze. 

he ran back home, and busted through the door. no one was home. 

however, Asriel had also stepped through, tapping Frisk on the shoulder.

''Frisk? are you okay?'' he asked. 

Frisk, relived at seeing someone unfrozen, hugged Asriel.

''good to see you, Goatbro'' he said, gripping his adopted brother. Asriel looked older then when we last saw him. he was now 21, and he had recently taken Asgore's old mantle as the kind of the monsters, something he knew would have responsibility taken with it. however, he knew he could always turn to those who cared for him for guidance.

however, their reunion was cut short [after Frisk explained what the fuck was going on] when a voice called out ''halt there, bruh!''

the two turned to see... Sans? no wait, it's Epic Sans. nevermind. god i killed a powerful moment.

''what the... Sans? oh right Au's'' Asriel was at first confused, but then he remembered what Frisk just told him about.

''that's new. i havn't seen this one before'' Frisk responded.

''another me showed me a crystal ball thing that showed your image. so i concluded.... your the villain, bruh!'' Epic continued, pointing to Frisk. Asriel just facepalmed.

''get to the whereabouts of the OMEGA timeline portal Assy, quick! i'll try talking sense into him'' Frisk urged Asriel, pushing him. Asriel nodded, then ran.

Epic then jumped down before saying ''it's not him i'm after, bruh, it's you.'' he then made both his hands form a circle shape, then energy formed in it. he then began speaking. ''Kame....hame....BRUH!'' before launching a purplish blast. Frisk avoided it.

''that's a ripoff of Dragon ball Z. your just memeing.'' Frisk said dissapointed.

''that ain't all bruh!'' Epic said. he then did a weird ninja shadow dance, then multiplied, and he and the copies leapt in the air, and brung rubber chickens out, and tried to downward slam them. Frisk then dodged them easily because it transported tot eh battle board for him, then he got his soul avoiding them.

Frisk pressed ACT. the options were:

*Flirt.

*cringe

*talk

*check

Frisk pressed check. it read Epic Sans, likes saying bruh 24/7.

he then pressed talk. ''can you please stop attacking? this is a misunderstanding, isn't it? i'm trying to save these AU's and frozen timelines from X!Gaster.''

after several minutes of one sided turn based combat where it's one sided because Frisk is dodging everything and just trying to talk, Epic eventually took a breath as Frisk pressed Mercy.

''if i can really trust you then.... so be it.'' Epic was hesitant, but he went along anyway.

as for Asriel, he had found the timeline's portal for the OMEGA timeline. he stepped through, then he turned to see that there were Sanses everywhere. then, he found Flowey, put him in the pot, and CORE Frisk showed up, telling him ''welcome to the OMEGA timeline, Classic Asriel. your home timeline is 1234.''
