CHAPTER FOUR:
BACK IN THE PAST
THE FIRST THING she saw was sunlight as the large doors to the garage-like place opened up, revealing the outside. Lots of people were wearing similar uniforms that were completely different to what she was used to. Planes stood around, the tops open as pilots were entering them with smiles on their faces. Her feet was moving her towards the opened doors, a bag in her hand and as she glanced down, she saw she was wearing a similar brown uniform like the others. She held a little smile on her face as she walked outside of the garage area, swinging her bag till it was laying over her shoulder as her fingers held the strap.
"Where are we?"
It seemed as if she heard the voice, plenty more adding to the question from an unfamiliar voice she had never heard before. The woman's feet came to a stop as her eyes squinted beneath her sunglasses, brows furrowing deeply while she stared up at the sky, wondering if she had been the only one to hear that.
"Where's your head at?" A voice suddenly asks.
Hearing the voice right next to her, she snapped her gaze away from the sky and to the person she felt come up right next to her. It was a woman with short dark hair and dark skin. Like herself, she was wearing a brown type of uniform with a pair of sunglasses over her eyes to block the sun.
F/n smiles as if nothing happened. "In the clouds."
"You sure you ain't daydreaming about Connor again?" The woman teases with a smile.
"So what if I was?" F/n fires back through a chuckle. "Where's your head at?"
The woman shakes her head, smiling. "On my shoulders. About to show these boys how we do it. You ready?"
"Higher, further, faster, baby." Another voice calls out before she could open her mouth.
Both women look over as they watch a familiar blonde move his long legs towards them with a teasing smile. The woman seems to roll her eyes under her glasses at her best friend, watching as the blonde wrapped an arm around the younger woman beside her and leaned down to press a kiss to her lips.
At the sight, a chuckle escaped the dark haired woman while she continued moving towards her own plane as the couple kissed each other for a couple of seconds, the e/c eyed woman's hand coming up to hold the side of his face. When they pulled away, her eyes met a familiar pair of blue ones underneath her sunglasses.
