EVERYTHING WAS BLURRY for a moment when his eyes first opened. He could hear the voices and as his eyes blinked many times, he noticed that they were upside-down. He also noticed that they didn't look like the normal people that he's used to seeing in his everyday life in Hala, their green skin being evident.
Blinking many times, Vers' vision was able to become a bit more clear as he looked on either sides of him, seeing his hands were trapped and his bare feet were stuck on something. He couldn't feel his hair on his head and realization had came quick to him that he happened to be upside-down instead of the Skrulls.
The memory of a Skrull impersonating as Soh-Larr came to his mind after him and F/n had found him in the temple, convinced it was a friend of theirs. At the reminder of F/n also having been knocked out, his eyes frantically looked around and he was able to catch the sight of someone also upside-down like him and he seemingly recognized who it was.
Meanwhile, none of the Skrulls seemed to notice that he had woken up as his eyes looked around in search of a way out. Screens were displayed in front of the Skrulls as they tried to figure out something from within their memories. The general of the Skrulls, Talos, could be seen pacing back and forth as he looked at the screens.
"Do we have any information we can act on?" Talos questions.
"Just that Lawson was somewhere on planet C-53. We're on our way." A Skrull assures.
"Then dig, dig, dig deeper." Talos demands. "Lawson is our link to that light-speed engine! And everything we're after."
Vers quickly closes his eyes when a Skrull moves towards him, doing something to the machine he was attached to. The blonde peaks open a bit as he side eyes the Skrull in front of him, the heat of his powers being seen within the parts of the machine, clearly ready to attack any moment now.
When he noticed the Skrull moving in front of him, he quickly closed his eyes again just when he felt the Skrull tap his forehead, causing the screens to turn on again. Talos let out a surprised 'oh' as he informed the Skrull that the action did something and demanding him to do it again, to which the Skrull did just that.
It was then that the Skrull noticed the redness of the cuffs Vers' hands were stuck in just as he was able to get free and swung his arm towards the Skrull, the metal piece knocking him out. He brought it over to get his other hand free before doing the same to his feet, landing on the floor of the ship on his knees with a thud.
