"Ladies and gentlemen ... Sadie Brando and Lewis Hamilton!"

The crowd erupts in cheers as we stroll down the red carpet. God only knows why we woke up so early this morning to get to this event for 7pm. Wolff wanted us briefed by the media team over what to say and do. I suppose he doesn't trust us, well me especially. Not after how I've always managed to be put into the spot light.

Me punching Charles in the face mid interview is a prime example.

Lewis wore a navy chequered suit with cornrow braids neatly aligned on his head, sunglasses on. Which I told him to take off a thousand times on the way here, I told him there was no need. It was night time for crying out loud. But after seeing how many paparazzi were here and flashing their cameras at us I realised I should've done the same.

I dread to think of what the pictures will look like later. Most with my eyes being shut, most likely.

I walked alongside him as we strolled down the red carpet, greeting fans and signing items.

We met the interviewer at the top of the long row of steps, introducing himself with a big smile on his face. His blonde comb over hair was stuck down tight with gel. His hair was so shiny I was even jealous.

"How are you both feeling tonight!"

Before we could even begin to speak the crowd erupted into another applause as a car pulled up where we got dropped off at the start of the carpet. Even the interviewer was no longer paying attention to us.

I try to lean forward and squint my eyes to get a better look in anticipation of what drivers were to approach the carpet next.

Hamilton fists curled into balls as we soon realised it was the Ferrari team.

And there he was, the man you've all been waiting for ... Charles motherfucking Leclerc. The girls in the crowd went feral when they saw his handsome face, my jaw even fell to the floor. He looked good, too good. I saw him a little over five months ago and he still has this weird spell over me!

"Pick your jaw up Sayd. We don't like him." Lewis reminds me squeezing my shoulder. My face soon morphed back into a small placid smile, but deep down I was screaming. Ladies, I'm with you on this one - and he's the father of my child.

The interviewer soon stopped gawking at the two men a couple feet behind us and soon shifted his attention back. "Now Sadie what on earth happened with you two? Are you still together? We haven't seen you to together in months if not years."

I scratched the back of my neck as my stomach dropped. I opened my mouth to speak but I was utterly speechless.

"Think we need a drink Sayd. Thanks so much for your time, have a good night!" Hamilton exclaims before pushing me through the double doors and into a hot atmosphere.

Waiters and waitresses all strolled around onto the big circular area of tables just below, handing out multiple alcoholic beverages, which each table took willingly.

We were one of the later ones to show up as I squinted and saw Lando on one of the middle tables laughing with his fellow racers. I hear a loud "cheers" erupt between them all as they touched glasses together before downing their shot.

Then he locked eyes with me as he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. He took no time in sauntering off from the drivers and towards me and Hamilton's direction.

"Hey guys!" He shouts to us as Hamilton raises his hand to signal some sort of acknowledgment. Both of us stroll down the stairs, my heels clicking loudly with step.

"Allow me..." Lando says and he extends his hand and leading me down to the floor. I take it willingly and smile at him.

"You never fail to be a gentleman." Lewis laughs as they both go in for a "bro hug" as soon as we reached the last step.

"I'll catch up with yous in a bit, I'm in need of the toilet."

Then it's just me and Norris stood staring at eachother.

"How's the little man."

"Ellis is good, happy! Starting nursery soon." I reply with a nervous look on my face.

"God that's gone so fast. Seems like only yesterday that El was born! Do you remember when I ran to the hospital at 2 in the morning to make sure I didn't miss his birth," He lets out a bellowing laugh,"Not that I was allowed in."

It was my mum and Ellie in the room with me when I gave birth. Lewis, Jamie, Lando and my dad were stood outside, all eager to see my newborn. I lived at Hamilton and Ellie's at the time and Ellis decided he no longer wanted to wait another 2 weeks for his due date, making me wake everyone in the house up to get me to hospital in the early hours of the morning.

Ellie was practically running me to the car, whilst Lewis was too busy prancing around trying to find one of the car seats that they used for the twin's birth.

"Lewis drove the car like he was actually in a race, I'm sure at one point we were on 2 wheels going around a roundabout." I chuckle.

"El just didn't want to wait - he was eager to go, just like his mum."

I had no idea what came over me but I was soon pulling him into a hug. I missed him.

"I'm sorry I haven't called in a while but you know what Wolff said. I should probably stay out of the spotlight around you because of Charles-"

"No I get it, I really do. I've just missed you that's all. Come round soon, we'll take Ellis to the park..."

"Me too. Considering I'm the father." Charles cuts in. I feel my face contorting by just hearing his voice.

"Don't act like you care. When was the last time you saw him?" I challenge, as I flip my head around to look at him

His green eyes stare back at me and he rubs the stubble on his beard and a smirk forms. "I'm sorry. I've just been struggling to come to terms with the fact that I got told, once I got out of my two month long coma - three years ago, that I was having a baby with a woman that I don't ever remember having a relationship with." He spits at me sarcastically.

I could've swung for him there and then buy Hamilton stepped in front of me, "Your way out of line. Leave her the fuck alone mate. Not here, we are not doing this here."

Those green eyes looked back at me and then right past me as he walked to his table in the corner without a fuss.

Three years ago before the crash that man worshipped the ground I walked on, was there for me when my brother died, literally shielded me from the blast of the accident and now he's become a complete stranger again. A rival more like.

I've defended you for the last three years when everyone called me conceded. I really thought you'd just one day remember or at least show some respect and responsibility. But seriously from now on...

Fuck you Charles.
