Bose's POV:

It was late at night, and I was sitting in my bedroom, thinking about what Chapa said to me earlier. She's right, I am dumb a lot, and I do try to be smart, but it's not easy. It takes a lot of work to be smart and do smart things, but I somehow can't keep up.

At this point, I'm too sad to even do anything else. I wasn't even in the mood to go back to the Man's Nest the next day, I just needed some time to get myself together.

Suddenly, a crime alert goes off on my phone. It's Doctor Minyak and Nurse Cohort, and it looks like they're at a new location in Swellview. Well, I guess I might as well at least try to handle this. Luckily, my mom and step-dad were asleep, so I took the chance, transformed into Brainstorm, and climbed out of my window.

Chapa's POV:

Why? Why did I have to say all that mean stuff to Bose? He didn't deserve any of it, and honestly, I don't even have a good reason for why I said all that stuff. I feel terrible. I really wish I wasn't mean to him.

I wasn't sure whether or not he'd return to the Man's Nest the next day, but if he does, I need to apologize to him for being harsh. I really need him as a friend in my life.

Right now, I'm lying in bed, and I'm basically crying. The fact that I couldn't stop myself from lashing out at one of my closest friends just makes me so sad. I feel like he's doing the same right now, and if he is, I don't blame him.

Bose's POV:

I'm walking down a desolate street, no people, just me and a single flickering street light. Suddenly, I hear a commotion, and I slowly get closer to where it's coming from: a dark alley.

I got even closer, slowly looked inside, and I saw Minyak and Cohort with some evil device. Typical, just typical. I go in and put a stop to their possible evil planning.

Me: "Hey! Stop right there!"

Minyak: "Well, well, well, look who it is: Brain-Fart."

Me: "Hey, I don't appreciate your disrespectfulness, Minyak."

Minyak: "Too bad, buddy. I'm the one who's holding an evil device."

Me: "I don't care how evil it is, you're not going anywhere with it."

Minyak: "Oh, is that right?"

Minyak snaps his fingers, and out of nowhere, goons from each side show up and hold me back so that I can't use my powers.

Me: "What do you want, Minyak?"

Minyak: "Well, now that you're here, I can finally show you what this device does, and there's no way to stop me now."

I couldn't break free from the goons' grasp, Minyak pointed the device at me, fired it, and that's the last thing I remembered.

No One's POV:

After Minyak fired his weapon at Brainstorm, screams were heard from outside of the alley. After about a minute, the alley was empty. Brainstorm, Minyak, Nurse Cohort and the two goons were gone.
