From Brainstorm To Brainkiller

Chapa's POV:

The fight begins. I volunteer again to battle Brainkiller while the rest of the team was fighting Minyak. He actually set the device down to fight them.

Brainkiller: *deep voice* "You better give up now, red, you will never defeat me."

Me: "My name is not 'red!' I WILL defeat you, and I am GOING TO get Brainstorm back!"

Brainkiller: "He's long gone! He was sick and tired of being disrespected by his own teammates!"

As we continue fighting, both of us shoot lighting out of our hands, and this time, my power hits him, and he falls to the ground, but quickly gets up.

Me: "That is not true! His teammates would never disrespect him!"

Brainkiller: "If that was true, he wouldn't have turned into this! He would've been on your side, fighting Minyak, but look at him now! He's gone!"

As he's talking, I feel a mixture of sadness and anger building up inside me. Those words that I had said to Bose before all this happened continue to haunt me.

I suddenly felt tears running down my face, and out of the corner of my eye, I see Minyak trying to use the evil device on me, but Shout-Out used her powers to make him drop and smash it when it hit the ground.

I didn't know what to do next, but then, I got another idea. I rushed over to Brainkiller, and I put my arms around him, backed him up against a wall, all while tears were running down my face.

Me: *tearfully* "Brainstorm, please! We need you back on our side! I need you! I'm so sorry about all that stuff I said to you yesterday. I have no absolutely excuse for why I said all that stuff, and I never should've let those words escape my mouth! The truth is, I really need you in my life! You're my best friend, and I... I really don't want to lose you! Most of the time, you're more than my best friend! You're... you're like a brother to me! Please come back! I can't lose you!"

I'm saying all of this while still having tears run down my face. Suddenly, Brainkiller stopped moving, so I let go of him, and I saw him with his hand on his head, and he stumbled back a little bit.

Then, something unbelievable happened. He started to glow, and he started screaming, so I backed up a little bit. Next thing I saw was a huge cloud of darkness that left his body, went up in the air, and disappeared.

He fell to the ground while his dark suit had turned back into its normal blue color, with the Telekinesis symbol returning to the suit's chest. Everyone else saw what happened, and they went over to where I was.

AWOL: "Are you alright?"

Me: "Yeah, I'm good."

When I saw Brainstorm on the ground, I immediately rushed over to him, along with the others. I helped Brainstorm off the ground, hugged him, and he returned the hug.

Me: "Brainstorm, you're back!"

Brainstorm: "Of course I'm back."

After a few seconds, we stopped hugging and looked at each other.

Brainstorm: "Was all of that true? Did you really mean everything you just said?"

Me: "I did, and it's all true. You really are like a brother to me."

Brainstorm: "I'm really glad to hear that, and...if I'm being completely honest, you're like a sister to me."

All (except Brainstorm): "Aww!"

Shout-Out: 🎶Genuine Moments🎶

The rest of us gathered around for one big group hug before Minyak got up off the ground.

Minyak: *growls* "How dare you rid my minion of all the evil that was inside of him!"

Brainstorm: "I'm not your minion, dude! I don't even like you!"

Me: "Nobody does!"

Minyak: "Ha! Insult me all you want, you will never defeat me!"

Brainstorm and I look at each other, nodded, and we both used our powers to knock Minyak back to the ground.

AWOL: "Special delivery for Swellview prison."

With that, AWOL teleports Minyak to prison.

Brainstorm: "So, did I miss anything while I was gone?"

Me: "We'll explain at the Man's Nest. Right now, I'm just so happy to have you back, and I promise you, I won't say anything mean to you ever again."

Brainstorm: "Well, thank you, that means a lot."

AWOL re-enters.

AWOL: "A'ight, let's get out of here."

We all gather around AWOL as he teleports us back to the Man's Nest.
