From Brainstorm To Brainkiller

We Can't Fight Him

(Warning: swearing, blood)

Chapa's POV:

I can't believe this. Bose can't be evil, he's too full of kindness. Then, I realized that this wouldn't be happening if I didn't say those mean things to him. I mean, he is a handful at times, but he's still our friend, and we have to get him back.

Me: "Brainstorm, please, this isn't like you, I know that inside, you're not really evil."

In his deep voice...

Brainkiller: "Brainstorm is gone, he wasn't that great of a human being anyway."

AWOL: "That is not true, dude. He was the best human being, and he was our friend."

Shout-Out: "Yeah, we wouldn't trade him for anything in the world."

Brainkiller: *evil-chuckles* "Seems like you all just did."

Captain Man: "Minyak, whatever you did to him, you better change him back!"

Minyak: "Ha! I can't see that happening ever. *to Brainkiller* Attack, my minion!"

Brainkiller: *evil-chuckles* "Gladly, my Lord."

Shit, this is bad. We can't fight him, or else we'd never get our friend back. We were going to have to find another way to get him back somehow. Killerstorm lifts a few objects with his powers, and fires them at us. AWOL was able to teleport us to the opposite side of the room we were in.

I volunteered to deal with Brainkiller, while the others took on Minyak and his two other goons. As I deal with Brainkiller, I try to tell him things that might bring Bose back. He doesn't believe me, though.

Brainkiller: "LIES! I was never nice, I was always evil. I love being evil."

Goddamn it, it's not working. Suddenly, he uses his powers again to lift up more heavy objects and fire at me with them. Luckily, I'm able to zap them out of the way. Then, much to my surprise, something completely unexpected happened: the dude shot black lightning from his hands, but I was able to duck out of the way.

Does this guy have MY powers, too?! I mean, that just completely came out of nowhere. He fires again, but I fire my red lightning at the same time. The two lightning strikes meet in the middle, as the both of us were trying to aim each other's closer to the other.

I did what I could, but he was too powerful. Once his powers reached me, I was completely blown back, and I landed on the ground with a hard thud.

Me: "FUCK!!"

Everyone else heard and saw what had happened, and they rushed over to help me up. My suit was torn and burned, along with my mask. There were burn marks all over my skin, and a few bloody spots, too. Jesus Christ, it hurts!

AWOL: "Everybody, grab on to me!"

Quickly, we all grabbed on to AWOL as he teleported us all back to the Man's Nest.

Minyak: "You did well, my minion, especially to the red one. I doubt she'll be able to fight you again anytime soon."

Brainkiller: "Yes, my Lord."
